lately i’ve been realizing that what matters the most in this lifetime are the simple things: napping after a long day, petting animals, hearing the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun on your skin, clean sheets, long drives with music, the company of your favorite people, laughter, late summer evenings where all you care about is watching the sunset, sleeping while it’s raining, the first snow of the year, when flowers start to bloom in the spring… and so much more. that’s what life is about.

my five year plan? sit in the sun as long as possible. take millions of pictures of sunset. smile more :) hold doors open for people. take a selfie with a penguin. read 237362808 books watch 33563737 movies. be brave & be strong. befriend the neighborhood kids and tell them stories. dont worry about falling in love. FOLLOW JOY.
