I finished this bookbinding today. The story is The Basics of Chemistry by KitnUnderfoot. It's an original g/t story and a personal favorite of mine.

I wanted the cover and back cover to reflect the contrast between the two main characters, so I kept the front cover white and simple to resemble a scienctific paper. I took the molecules from my organic chemistry book. The image on the backcover belongs to @kitn-underfoot

The section break is a mouse, if you know you know :)

This is one of my first fic bindings. I tried using photo paper for the first time, and I adored the result. I still need to correct a few things while binding, but I think I'm making good progress.

The fic is Pocket Paladin by The_opal_essence and if you like Voltron and g/t, you absolutely need to read it because it's a gem.

the d&d campaign we will host in summer will have some g/t in it cuz of worldbuilding and none of the players thought it was weird — they rather thought it was very cool.

I don't know if I haven't been in enough fandoms, but I swear I have never seen so much hate for a complex character that can barely be considered a villain.

I think Guangyao's ideal height is about one or two apples tall.

That way his Er-ge can pick him up with just two fingers and place him in his pocket when he overworks himself and refuses to rest.

Guangyao won't admit it but he sleeps best tucked in there, hearing his calming heartbeat.

He places him in his shoulder when he plays the guqin and Guangyao gives him small pats following the rhythm.

When he is stressed or overwhelmed he hides behind his hair, which usually happens when Mingjue looks angry or Madam Jin is nearby.

His Da-ge, on the other hand, places him on his shoulder to keep an eye on him, so he doesn't cause any mischief.

Xichen doesn't think that's necessary because Guangyao is very well behaved. But he also knows Mingjue sneaks Guangyao candy when he helps him with his paperwork.

And that Mingjue goes very red when Guangyao sits on top of his head like a tiny general.
