My baby turned 6 months old on September 12!!

Can’t believe I have a 4 month old!! My baby girl has been gaining so much weight, she’s getting taller, she sits up now, falls over still haha, but definitely sits up for a bit, her neck is firm and I can carry her with one arm lol. She laughs and smiles so much it brings me so much joy, she’s such a happy baby girl and that’s beautiful to me. Her father/my fiancé started to show her how to make this sound & the fact that she does it backs makes me so emotional, she’s really growing up! But she’s still my little baby.

My baby girl turns TWO months next Thursday……. It’s been the hardest most beautiful 2 months of my entire life !

It’s 1:07 am & my baby girl is sleeping peacefully and I’m up doing laundry & pumping so I decided to come on here and share my labor experience with you all, I honestly still can’t believe how beautifully it went. It was Thursday March 10, 2022 somewhere around 2 am I think but I just couldn’t sleep I noticed what I thought were braxton hicks finally were a bit stronger and I knew I was going into labor soon because of the fact that suddenly I knew it wasn’t braxton hicks anymore since it was more than uncomfortable that entire night, by the morning I was telling my fiancé to call out Friday because I just felt in my heart that she was coming that weekend, my due date was March 13, 2022 & Friday came and I kept feeling the contractions really getting stronger by Friday at 6 pm, I called the labor & delivery and kept updating them but I managed to stay home till I was 6 cm open! I still can’t believe I did that.. I remember in between contractions just grabbing my fiancé and squeezing him and sleep when they went away and again wake up 7 mins to repeat that haha. When it hit 5 am on Saturday we decided to go into the hospital and good thing I stayed home as long as I did because when I got there they said I’m 6 cm open and they weren’t going to send me home but keep me there, I decided to say no to ANY pain medication & no to the epidural, two and a half hours passed and I was 10 cm open, 43 mins later and I got my baby girl out, I can’t believe I did that!!! I couldn’t have done it without my fiancé, he kept me grounded and focus! Kept whispering beautiful things into my eat he kept telling me “it’s not pain that you’re feeling is you feeling how powerful you are, you are beautiful, you are strong” making sure I would breathe deeply in and out and for that I will always be grateful, the fact that I didn’t curse at him haha the fact that I would just hug him tightly when my contractions would come and then just laugh and smile when they went away and be so focus and got my baby girl out was fucking incredible, I felt like superwomen I felt like a goddess because I am, in that moment I had two beating hearts !! And that day was all about me & my baby girl! She came a day early, March 12, 2022 @ 11:13 am, she was 6 pounds 2.8 oz 18 inches in length 💕🧿🥹 it was overall the most beautiful experience ever!!!!

Can you believe I turn 9 months pregnant tomorrow!!!!! Where did the time go ??? Idk, but I’m so excited and full of excitement to meet my little flower Cataleya 🎀 it has definitely been an amazing experience, one of my favorite parts was seeing how much she grew when I would get my ultrasounds, but the most amazing thing till today is seeing how much she moves & kicks me! I feel her kicking my ribs now haha. It doesn’t hurt but it definitely feels so weird!! I recently had an appointment with my obgyn and I asked her if there was a way to know if she had turned already because of the fact that I feel more kicking by my ribs & she did an ultrasound & seeing how big she got was incredible.. she said “yup she’s turned upside down” I knew it but I’m glad since I turn 36 weeks tomorrow so it’s perfect timing! She also took a look at her lungs 🫁 and said that her lungs look amazing I was completely happy hearing her say all this, she said my pregnancy has been perfect since her heartbeat sounds strong, and the fact that my sugar levels were fine as well as not having any preeclampsia or diabetes, which I knew I wouldn’t since I made sure to continue eating healthy when I found out I was pregnant, & I never really got any cravings how many women would talk about getting, as far as beverages it wasn’t even a big change for me, I’ve always been drinking a lot of water even before I got pregnant & soda isn’t something I even liked before so that was really good for me. A bit before finding out I was pregnant I was always working out I didn’t continue to work out when I did find out I was pregnant but I did continue hiking and walking a lot so I know all those things helped a lot & I’m glad I did all that for her. From 280 days to 28 days left is just beautiful to me. My pregnancy hasn’t been fully easy because I did have some scares like spotting in the first trimester & a horrible car accident, I was at a stop light & some lady hit my car from behind but aside from that and not being able to eat much my first trimester because I was nauseous morning to night I can honestly say that I thank God that it’s been smooth since. Next time I come back on here she’ll be in arms , my healthy little flower, mommy & daddy are waiting for you darling 🧸👼💕
