So... Twitter huh? Anyway, welcome to my new Tumblr! The old one was curated by a 13 year old and lord knows we don't want any of that Let me introduce myself, my name is Moon! Hello everyone!! The 2026 RTGame Birthday Collab is OFFICIALLY OPEN!
Come join us for celebrating RTgame's 31st birthday with the awesome art collab we've been hosting for the past few years. We welcome artists of all skill levels and want YOU to join us for this year.
But How do I Join??

What's the Theme?
The inner workings of the Birthday Collab are kept inside the server until it’s released, to make the surprise worth it! It’s expected that you promise to keep your WIPs confidential until the full collab is posted - as well as the theme itself!
I can’t do digital art! Can I still join?
Of course! When needed, the organisers can scan any traditional artwork so it can be added to the collab.
We’ve also had a few people add 3D models to the collab before, so really - all mediums are welcome as long as they fit the file requirements!
TLDR again - Birthday Collab is underway - DM for an invite if you’re interested in participating!

I go to a design school, I have seen some of the most TALENTED people I’ve ever met, and it is so insulting to know that you think all talent is AI these days
The artists were credited for the images.
“Oh but the company keeps copying and pasting the same ‘we didn’t use AI’ message to reply to each comment!!!1!” Guess what. If they said something perfectly the first time, why would the reinvent the wheel. They’re delivering the same information each time
Instead of bitching about it in the comments, you know what you can do? Visit the artist’s page. You can see he’s been in business for longer than AI has been able to replicate art
Or use an AI image checker— not all AI is inherently vicious but yall clearly aren’t ready for that conversation
(Edit for clarity: AI image checkers use AI themselves. I’m not saying generative AI isn’t vicious)
You know good and well that an independent theatre company would never condone the use of AI, because (aside from them being vocally anti-AI) it would be horrible for business

The designer was credited yes, but if you check his portfolio he isn't an illustration guy. He does typography based posters. I don't doubt that he put the poster together, did all the text etc but the illustration itself is AI based.
"But they showed the lineart"
It's inconsistent. You know what it is? It's a vectorized image which then was given an outline.
Here is how it is done
As a bonus: Here is what I believe was ran through an AI to change her clothes and hair
So I wholeheartedly believe he generated two humans, pasted them over a picture of London, vectorized it and then changed a few things + added the text and the color palette. So the whole thing isn't AI, but it sure as hell was a crutch and they're not being transparent about it. I appreciate wanting to defend artists, but when they're not being fully transparent and their "proof" is late stage and sketchy as hell, you have to take it with a grain of salt. This isn't against team Starkid btw. I think they just didn't get told the truth by the company.

Hello! Happy to announce that the RTGame Birthday Collab for 2025 is finished and has been uploaded to Youtube for everyone to see!
We did try to make this collab a bit BIGGER as it's his 30th, so hopefully you all like what we did with it! RT himself has told us that he will feature the collab in an upcoming video once his vacation is over, so keep an eye out for that! I'll be sure to keep you posted if someone else doesn't get to it first ;D Regardless, everyone who participated in the collab is now allowed to post their submissions on their socials and whatnot - as well as share the finished collab around!

After weeks of work and a combined total of about 12 hours, it is finally done!
I hope you like it as much as I do! It genuinely got me out of my comfort zone as I don’t usually pose my characters and put them over backgrounds haha! I’m genuinely proud of the rendering on this one, it’s got to be my favourite in a while!
