Welcome to SPRUNKI : TWIN GODS!

You may refer to me as Moderator Glowb! or just glowb, for short-

In any case, Sprunki: Twin gods is my own personal interpretation of the story of the incredibox mod Sprunki, following an (as of now) unnamed village of give-or-take 19 on the planet of Sonus, being observed & studied by an unknown entity. I'm gonna try & keep major story beats hidden, but I hope you'll tag along & see what this universe has to offer!

Either way, time for a few disclaimers:

If you are under the age of 13, it is advised that you do not engage with this blog, as there is going to be imagery & topics that could be distressing for younger internet-goers. If a page contains triggering subject matter, I will put a { ~~ Keep reading ~~ } button at the top, as well as a list of potentially triggering material.

Unlike my previous attempt at telling this story, Sprunki: Twin Gods will no longer be mainly driven by asks, and should hopefully keep to a weekly upload schedule. This does not mean asks are closed, but it does mean any asks meant for specific characters may not be answered, and will not be answered in character.

I am an adult! As such, I will not censor myself or the characters of this blog too heavily, so you may expect to see some swear words popping up every so often.

I cannot stress this enough when I say that if you hold the belief that any minority group is inferior to you for being a part of that minority, you embrace being attracted to those that are unable to consent, or support generative AI, I do not want you on my blog, & if I find out you are here, You will be swiftly blocked.

Chapter 1 / Episode 5 (SECTION 1) - Oh Celestial, who is with the stars above…

The time is 4:00 AN.

Deep within the forest near the village, away from prying eyes & the complexity of civilized life, someone lived amongst the woods.

They were mostly uninterested in the goings-on of the outside world, only ever interacting with the village if they ever needed supplies or connection.

Not much could be made out about the Sprunki from afar, with the only things immediately apparent being their sapphire blue coat, the antlers & ears suggesting them to be a Bestia-Cornutus Sprunki, & a robe that seemed to be pulled from the night sky.

Whoever they were, the mysterious Sprunki was collecting various flora that matched the deep blues & purples of the cosmos, putting everything they collect in a satchel they were carrying on their person.

Once enough was collected, the mysterious Sprunki would soon reach a creek, the mouth of a comparatively small looking cave at the other side. On the outside, it seemed somewhat unremarkable, but it's clear they have business here.

They would continue moving, wading through the water & taking out a journal once they advanced into the cave entrance.

In what can only be described as an act of actual, true magic, a ball of light is summoned from the pages of the book, the sprunki's face now illuminated, revealing the figure to be Jevin. They were by far the most mysterious villager, to the point it's debatable if he even could be considered one.

After trekking through the cave, they would come upon its end, home to a shrine of their own creation.

The shrine was comprised of two main parts.

The altar, a basalt slab for offerings...

...and the mural, depicting a pantheon of only two, above & below a circle that could only be the world.

The upper side showed a symbol of two triangles & a circle, the upper triangle holding an eye & the lower a question mark, with a pair of hands that held a hammer & chisel...

...whilst the lower side showed a shadowy blob, its tendrils reaching out to consume the world as it held an empty gaze.

The blue Sprunki, once having knelt & placed their offering, would begin reciting a prayer.

Once finished, the blue Sprunki would light the offering of flora ablaze, before hearing two pairs of beeps that almost certainly could never come from the natural world.

Pulling out their phone, he'd open the one contact he had.

...Well, seems like he should get prepared.

Chapter 1 / Episode 5 (SECTION 2) - INCOMING TRANSMISSION

(CONTENT WARNING for 4th wall breaking.)

High above the village, & just on the border Sonus's atmosphere, would be the Entity, lingering.

It appears it would b- "Apologies for the interruption..."

"...but you wanted to see me, yes?"

"From now on, I ask that you directly acknowledge me, instead of just lingering, After all, we are both..."

". . ."

". . . Observers."

"Now, I've noticed you have been as curious as I am about the Chromanthrops Vocalis species, though admittedly more in the social aspect than the scientific."

"So, I propose a trade."

"You keep doing what you have been doing, without trying to make yourself known to the species, whilst I gather information both firsthand & from what you have seen, and I'll build an encyclopedia of sorts."

"Now, unfortunately I've yet to get the logbook into a presentable state..."

"But! It should be ready by no later than the end of the Sonuan day."

"If you are willing, I will provide you with a key to the encyclopedia in a language we both have some grasp on once it is presentable."

"I will see you soon."

why did you take papierboa's sky design if you ship vineria x jevin when he views them as related via marriage and ships vineria x wenda when you view them as siblings

Ah, I figured someone would ask this someday-

To put it simply, I liked that their design had a sweater, and considering TwinGods!Sky has issues with body dysmorphia, I figured giving him one as well would be a fitting addition to his design. If Papierboa ever were to take issue with the similarities, and they reach out to me about it, I'll gladly change the design to something both them & I are happy with.

As for this,

There's a reason why most of the time I'll preface any mentions of any of the TwinGods!Sprunki with the prefix of "TwinGods!", that being that I consider them to be different people altogether from their canon counterparts due to a multitude of reasons (probably one of the most glaring being that the TwinGods!Sprunki as a species evolved naturally whereas the Canon!Sprunki were made in a lab ala Dandy's World or Poppy Playtime).

As such, I don't really have a problem with people shipping characters that I don't, as I recognize they aren't shipping my renditions of these characters, and therefore, I don't really have much of a reason to be upset by that.

Chapter 1 / Episode 4 - The Night Owl

The time is 10:05 AN.

With it now a little further into the day, the Sprunki of the village have gotten into the full swing of their routine, and if they haven't already, are in the process of beginning as such.

...Well, except for the youngest villager.

A Bestia sprunki the color of the sky at noon, by the name of... well, Skylar.

Waking up this late was a common occurrence for the teen, though given the responsibilities he did have weren't all that demanding on what time he did them, and the time he was waking up wasn't completely unreasonable, it was nothing he or his mother had all that much to worry about.

...He should really take down that mirror sometime soon.

Downstairs, the light blue sprunki would find his mother Vineria, a Cornutus sprunki the striking color of an emerald.

She's a botany professor at the college of the neighboring city, though thanks to the village being somewhat remote (though not out of walking distance) & some chronic pain, the green sprunki opts to work from home.

Truth be told, Sky has been a little bit of a momma's boy for as long as he's been her son, so upon hearing her request, he soon made it a point to find any of the aforementioned corvids.

Apologies for the wait, everyone! As it would turn out, Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream is by far one of the most effective siphons for my attention span as of late, to the point of the downright egrigeous delay this episode has suffered as a result- Rest assured though, I will try & make sure that episode 5 will meet your screens on schedule, though I will note that I'll also be visiting family out of state from Wednesday to Saturday, so there may be a small delay because of that (bummer, I know 😔)

Hi, long time no see again! I come bearing bad news, as I’m sure you’ve noticed the lack of posts. I’ve kind of lost my drive to finish Acadia - I still love the story, but I can’t ever bring myself to sit down and finish it.

So, I am unfortunately cancelling Acadia. I will offer you all this:

-Asks will open for questions again, but will be mod-only, and characters will no longer be askable. This means behind-the-scenes stuff is also available!

-I will share some posts from the cutting room floor or my drafts - stuff that I cut for one reason or another. Asks will also be allowed about those, but they are mostly non-canon.

-I will give you all my last bit of writing covering Garnold’s death and finish the whole post, and then in another post go over the rest of the story that I had laid out, so you guys get to finally know how it was supposed to end.

I may draw them from time to time on my main blog, @airy-was-heree, but I won’t be doing anything more with them here. Once the last post is out, the askbox will stay open, but the blog will be largely archived as planned. The theme will also be changed to reflect how it would’ve looked at the end of the story.

Chapter 1 / Episode 3 - Running diagnostics…

The time is 7:58 AL.

The village is still in the process of waking up, many a sprunki within preparing for work, hangouts, or whatever other events demand their attention today.

The founder of the village is no different, a Planum Sprunki the color of dried amber, by the name of Garnold.

Although, you wouldn't be blamed for not knowing such, as the suit he wore covered her entire body.

The room he entered would be his & his husband's workshop, housing all the things you'd need to construct various devices. The room also held a pair of machines that were initially meant to aid in whatever projects the two undertook, one being a robot for more dangerous tasks fashioned from an old suit of Garnold's, whereas the other was a computer for testing designs before they made it out into the real world.

...At least, that's what they would be if they haven't achieved sapience.

As such, the couple decided it'd be a good idea to run daily diagnostics, to track how the two machines are developing.

With the PC now booted up, the golden sprunki would now just have to wait on the consciousness living inside it to greet her.

...No response.

As annoying as it was to deal with someone fooling around when there was important business to attend to, especially considering their  own wellbeing, Garnold didn't feel the need to get truly upset. After all, despite how advanced of an AI he is, MFC is still learning how to navigate the world.

Chapter 1 / Episode 2 - Get cheesed, stupid!

The time is 7:58 AL.

It is the dawn of a brand new day, and with it the beginning of many a sprunki's schedules.

At this time, there was one individual that was decidedly trying to sleep in, despite having made plans the day before.

A pure Bestia Sprunki the color of winter snow, by the name of Wenda.

She laid snuggled up to a body pillow of a character from her favorite game, her slumber oh-so rudely interrupted by both a knock at the door & a functional circadian rhythm.

Ah well, there's no going back to sleep now, especially when someone's waiting for her.

After a couple minutes, she'd finally make it to the door, to then be greeted by...

Her best friend Gray, a fellow Bestia Sprunki the color of basalt.

...Wenda didn't know in the slightest.

If it was anyone else that was tossing a piece of cheddar cheese on her face, Wenda would think of that person as little more than a jerk...

...But, she knew Gray, and she knew he's the type to only do something like this if he thought she'd find it funny.

Chapter 1 / Episode 1 - The Early Bird

The time is 5:11 AL.

The glow of the sonuan sun has started peeking out over the horizon, signaling it shall soon be the dawn of a brand new day.

Although, despite the early hour, one resident was already up and about. A lux sprunki with fur the same color as the soon-to-be rising sun, by the name of Simon.

It would appear he was preparing himself breakfast in the form of bacon pancakes, whilst humming a chipper tune.

Though, given his preoccupation with preparing his meal, Simon would be late to notice one of the few non-sprunki residents peering into his window.

After a few minutes, Simon would make his way outside to greet the star spirit, who cast a pleasantly warm aura on an otherwise chilly early morning as he turned on a hose.

The star would rise into the air, as the yellow sprunki would spray the hose directly onto its surface, fueling its inner workings further.

As much as the yellow sprunki would love nothing more than to spend all day with his companion, he still had a job to attend to outside of the village.

...It appears the spirit is lost in thought. Surely, Simon was forgetting something?

Realizing Vineria lowkey gets the “black women who only exists to be another characters love interest + is only treated as an accessory” fandom treatment but I don’t think this fandom is woke enough for that and a surprising amount of people do not view her as a black women despite the fact that she has dreads

“Female character being treated as an accessory to the male character” is unfortunately not a new thing but by far the character who I’ve seen the least interesting characterizations for is Vineria, who often than not is just written to be a stoner hippie girl archetype or even worse where she’s reduced to just a caretaker role and nothing more.

I think this is a problem because I think a lot of people can agree that she’s at least black coded due to the fact that she has a culturally black hair style + most of the gijinkas I’ve seen of her are black.

White. The color one's brain defaults to upon seeing what's beyond the universe, as to not destroy itself from its incomprehensible nature. White extends out as far as the eye can see.

Though, something stands out in the middle of it all... Our omniverse, ❄︎☟︎☜︎ ☝︎☜︎☠︎☜︎💧︎✋︎💧︎ 👌︎☹︎⚐︎⚐︎💣︎.

Containing every universe that has, does, and shall ever exist, the metaphysical structure spanning googolplexes upon googolplexes stands alone in this extraplanar space, as if it were simply drawn on a piece of paper. Amongst its branches drifts... something.

Its form is impossible to behold, your brain rendering it as simply a black box. But observing how it moves, it's clear that it's alive in some regard, even if it's not searching for anything in particular. Though eventually, it'd stop.

And turn...

...And presumably look into one of the many sparkly yet dark bubbles of space & time.

This universe to the untrained eye would appear like all the other ones the entity passed by without a care, but for whatever reason, it's caught its attention. So it dove right in, passing through the cosmic web billions of times faster than the speed of light yet not affecting even just a speck of stardust, zipping throughout the cosmos until...

...it arrived at a small, rocky planet orbiting a yellow dwarf star.

From the details it could gather from skimming the signals the life on this planet was emitting, the entity would soon come to two conclusions. Firstly, that this planet was dubbed "Sonus" by its dominant species. Secondly, that the dominant species has dubbed themselves as "C︎h︎r︎o︎m︎a︎n︎t︎h︎r︎o︎p︎s︎ V︎o︎c︎a︎l︎i︎s︎", otherwise known as...
