Back in 2023, there was a big drama in the Lackadaisy fandom involving Plutopools. She accused someone of grooming her—when in reality, all he did was ask why she blocked him. It could’ve been a simple conversation, like her saying his account made her uncomfortable. But instead, she created a document, painted a one-sided story, and accused him of harassment.
Because he had an NSFW account and she claimed to be a minor (something not everyone knew), people immediately took her side. Her followers started attacking him and even his friends—just for being associated with him, even if they had no idea what was going on.
When someone else tried to reach out to her privately to resolve things, she again claimed they were harassing her and made that public too—without ever hearing their side. This led to a huge wave of bans and hate, wiping out half the fandom, all because Pluto successfully played the victim and used her popularity to rally support.
Later, she got involved with someone who was already dating her own friend. She let him cheat with her. And while yes, the guy was in the wrong, Pluto dodged all accountability again by claiming she “didn’t know” and playing the victim once more.
Around late 2023, she started dating Squishy/Squishbounce. When she found out that Squishy had talked about NSFW stuff with his best friend in the past, she accused his best friend of grooming—even though Squishy was never a minor and had fully consented. Instead of defending his friend, Squishy stayed silent while his friend was dragged and slandered by others. Only months later did he realize Pluto was toxic and broke up with her.
But instead of Pluto apologizing or taking any responsibility for everything she'd caused, she just ran away to Tumblr (since all the drama had been on Twitter) and claimed she had “changed.”
Squishy was given a second chance by his friends. We forgave him, supported him, and welcomed him back. But now, in 2024, he chose to get back together with Pluto—because she convinced him she was different. He ignored all the harm she caused, all the people she hurt, and called it “growth.”
And instead of listening when his friends expressed concern, Squishy got angry at the very people Pluto once falsely accused. He called us unsupportive, even though we were just trying to stop him from repeating the same mistake.
I don't know who any of these people are it's unfortunate that things went the way they are. I don't associate with drama. I don't know if this is something important that I should know but this was really strange to receive.
I'm not sure if this is to bring up old drama to new people but please refrain it's definitely makes me not want to draw lackadaisy stuff. If all people want to do is just stir old dramas and whatnot that I have no awareness of
