(Almost 3 weeks late oops)

Was fighting for my life thru art block most of 2025 and still doing so now but I tried REALLY HARD. There's some scaling problems with some characters but let's pretend they are all standing different distances from the wall behind them okay okay sick.

Anyways bye I'm off to continue my battle against the art block.

Okay hear me out I DID draw my OCs a lot last year I just didn't POST THEM it's OKAY !!! IT'S OKAY !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways this year I decided their party theme would be movies which.... well, I came to regret it when I realized I couldn't cop out and give them simplized fits but it's okay we love a challenge !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll put all the movies and whatever under a read more but anyways yeah Happy New Year bye.

Kieran & Kenny - Funny Games (1997) - Kieran as Peter & Kenny as Paul

I've watched Funny Games US several times over the years, but only recently saw Funny Games '97 for the first time. Both films are great and fresh on my mind, and I feel like this was Kenny's vibe (not the murder part, just the excuse to dress up as a horror character) and Kieran is just along for the ride.

Connor & Peyton - One Cut of the Dead (2017) - Connor as Director Higurashi & Peyton as Nao

One Cut of the Dead is another movie I saw for the first time recently (just a few months ago !) and I instantly fell in love with it. I was wracking my brain for Con&Pey and eventually was just like, hey, I like this movie, let's do this. And with it debuts Peyton WITHOUT her hair dyed, which I genuinely don't think I've ever done ?? No promises it won't be dyed again next time but idk !! I like brunette Peyton.

Dani & Don - The Breakfast Club (1985) - Dani as Claire & Don as Bender

The Breakfast Club is one of my all-time faves and it felt correct that it's the movie I chose for these two. Plus, they canonically love the film. Featuring, for the first time in my life, Dani without what kinda became her signature purple. We're shaking the goddamn table or something probably. I think she looks cute as a redhead <3

Isa & Em - Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) - Isa as Bill & Em as Ted

Bill & Ted, one of my favorite franchises. How I love thee. I don't really have an explanation other than Isa & Em would ALSO love these movies and so that's canon now I love them.

Trent, Nancy, Nathan, & Cara - A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), A Christmas Story (1983), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - Trent as Glen, Nancy as Nancy, Nathan as Ralphie, & Cara as Columbia

Now this probably killed me the most since I tacked on TWO extra characters, who kind of got a soft launch in Nancy & Nathan's picture LAST year (Though I did post a sketch of them on my Insta a few months before that). Trent (beside Nancy) and Cara (beside Nathan) are Nancy's co-workers !! Nancy and Trent's relationship is just ? because they have beef but not really and maybe they're into one another but not really ?? Who is to say. Doesn't help that they're in a couple's costume. Cara is Kieran's little sister and she is the nice one between her and Nancy/Trent. Nathan just hates to be in that damn bunny suit but it's the life he lives and we love him for that.

Anyways that's it I love my characters bye.

Got it done quicker this year since Cheech has not been banned from my room for several months and can actually visit and therefore I don’t have to feel guilty being in my room all day.

ANYWAYS I really should draw my ocs more because this was fun, I had a good time. I love them goodbye.

As to be expected, my artstyle can and will never be consistent so Dani looks different compared to when I drew her…… 3mo ago ???? It’s a skill to be this inconsistent tbh. I last drew Isa in January so I have an excuse for her at least lmao.

Happy very belated New Year !

Took my time this year because, unlike last year, I have a dog and I don’t want to spend several days in a row working on 5 art pieces while she’s downstairs (she has my mom but she misses me a lot and she’s currently banned from my room until further notice)

Definitely made an ATTEMPT at backgrounds since I did a zoom call kinda thing so no pink void this year. I think I did ALRIGHT. Definitely massive room for improvement.

Anyways, all the shit that has already happened this year aside, hope you’ve been having a solid first 2 weeks of 2021 !

P.S. the character behind Kenny and Kieran (picture 1) is Kieran’s younger sister Cara. I’ve drawn her before but it’s the first time I’ve posted a drawing of her, oops !

Anyways I’ve always associated Nancy w/ Jason Voorhees (drew her with the mask before) so clearly that meant that trend continue for Halloween lmao

Alison Lim is here name and I actually created her at the beginning of the month but I only just now drew her digitally so–

I could go on about my thoughts for her but long story short she + another character that I haven’t really finalized yet so we’re ignoring him temporarily–

The two of them attend the same collgege as Dani + Peyton et. cetera

Happy New Year, Happy New Decade ! I’m never drawing a toddler ever again !

Five times ! Five times ! F i v e t i m e s ! This is the 5th consecutive year I’ve done this, and only the lord knows when I’ll stop.

Not a LOT of changes were made this year compared to last. Isa’s hair has more blonde than last, Em’s hair is much darker than before, plus me finally labeling her as non-binary (she/her and they/them !), which I always had the intention to do but never, like, really did anything with. So I’m gonna try and be better with that !

Moving on, I drew Don and Dani with their kid, Alex, who, like, in-timeline is the only Next Gen baby atm. Wild. Might never draw him as a baby again because lord is it a task.

Happy Halloween !!

I had intentions of drawing Dani this year, but for the life of me couldn’t settle on a costume for her. So ! I focused on Peyton and Isa separately, and might I say I’m proud of myself for these ones.

Peyton is dressed as Cheyenne from NBC’s Superstore, which is one of my favorite shows rn. Like, honestly, check it out if you haven’t.

Isa is dressed as Tree from Happy Death Day (+ HDD2U), and I gotta say I’m lowkey feeling blonde Isa. Might keep that goin for awhile. But anyways watch Happy Death Day and 2U because they’re fun movies and Tree is A++.

Happy New Year: Part 4 (get it ? bc I’ve been doing this for 4 years ??? aha)

as I wind up doing every year, there are a few new changes with most everyone. Kenny, much like her sisters, got a darker skin tone, same as Nancy and Nathan. Also I darkened the Rivera Twins’s hair color and Em’s as well. Also I changed Em’s hairstyle in general and Nancy has once again been given her long hair bc I’m indecisive on a month to month basis. Fun !

I both love and hate drawing these. Hate because it’s a lot of work and I get overwhelmed easily, which lead to the day-later-than-the-last-2-years post. And love bc it’s an easy way to see my improvements year to year ! so here’s to a pretty rad 2019 I guess !
