it’s so weird. like yeah it’s good that tv animation and cartoons intended for all ages is beginning to have a lot more stories focusing on bigger plots and not just silly single episode plotlines but also the latter option isn’t any less worthy??? like neither is necessarily more good than the other yknow. sometimes shows that are just silly things happening are good shows and it’s weird to expect every show that’s just outwardly and unabashedly goofy is actually going to have a deeper storyline down the line. like are you really expecting a show called cuphead to tackle season long themes of character development

Hi, guys. I recently got out of inpatient for psychiatric treatment. While I was there a water pipe burst under our house. I’m trying to scrounge up money to pay to have that fixed, along with paying the high water bill from that incident- while also trying to get another pipe fixed (propane pipe, we had a leak in that too awhile back and it needs fixed), and money just to live on because I am unable to work due to mental and physical disabilities. I have applied for SSDI but it can take up to six months for that to go through.

hey, generally speaking i am pro-pirating but there is post going around with a free version of Maus by Art Spiegelman on a google doc and i am genuinely asking you all to not reblog it. Art Spiegelman is still alive. he still makes money off of Maus. and what is being monetized is his generational trauma as the son of a holocaust survivor. please either buy Maus or get it from the library (libraries also benefit the author and when more people request or check out a book it communicates to the library that they need more copies). pirating Maus is very different than pirating a marvel movie or reading a google doc of a book no longer in print. please use critical thinking.

i hate to do this again, but i am.resorting to e-begging once again because im flat broke and need help.
