The legendary Quackthulhu, a duck corrupted by an aberrant meteor, waddled its way out of its pond and into its new lair, where it lay in wait for our new band of adventurers. The content of the meteor is somewhat unknown, save that it’s white and luminescent, and it warps anything that has the misfortune of getting it embedded in their skin. The dire wolves only had a little, so they had minor (but still disturbing) mutations of face-splitting tentacles, extra eyes, and growing an extra leg. Quacktopus got the whole meteor.
