if i had a nickel for every story i've started that included a white-clad mentor whom people online refer to as a tree due to future events i had not yet read up to, i'd have two nickels

I wonder what gets more review bombing: something like Cherry Magic or Tadaima Okaeri that specifically says in the summary that it's gay
or
something like Isekai Office Worker (I hate that they tacked that onto the title) The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter that, I guess unless you have prior knowledge of the other adaptations or BL tropes, doesn't seem gay until the second episode
In the first scenario it's obvious that it's gay so homophobes can immediately attack it, but then in the second scenario homophobes would be outraged by being "tricked into watching something gay"
I was so disappointed when they tacked on "Isekai Office Worker" to the beginning of The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter. I feel like the new addition makes it sound cheaper and more like a generic isekai anime, which in turn makes it more visible to those who really only watch the kind of cliche power fantasy hetslop associated with the term "isekai"
YOU CAN'T JUST MENTION PREGNANCY AND NOT DO ANY SORT OF FOLLOW THROUGH!!!
Sure, I expected I would be without a baby bump (seeing as snakes lay eggs and I've been burned by eggnancy before) but to be given nothing??? Not even a quick flash forward to see the kid???
I guess I shouldn't've had my hopes up, seeing it's only a volume long and pregnancy was only mentioned at like the very end but come onnnnn don't tease me like that
maaan i miss my manhwa...
it's really too bad that i don't like alpha wolfgirl x omega wolfboy. i know that any story set in an omegaverse has the potential to be very dubcon/noncon but like... awow is too much for me. i read the first volume and it had some interesting things like talk about periods and nesting during heat (which is surprisingly rare outside of fanfic)
anyone have any good female alpha x male omega manga/fics? i was really liking "engaged to my omega teacher" but i can't find anyone who's finished the translation into english.
