Love finding new combos and getting creative with the items already in my closet. • These jean are from a couple of years ago. Since pledging to participate in @collaction_org’s #slowfashionsummer, I’ve forced myself to see my wardrobe a bit differently. I haven’t bought any new clothes in a while, so I’m making do with what I have. Like these jorts (that’s slang for jean shorts 😉)! I’ve owned them for at least a year, maybe 2, and probably can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve worn them. Literally nothing wrong with them.. just tend to overlook them when I’m deciding what to wear. 🤷🏾♂️ I wore them out the other day because: 1) I wanted to switch it up the fit 2) I bought them, so I should wear them!! 3) Why not?! I’m sharing this because I want to challenge you all to think twice before you go purchase something new because you have “nothing to wear” with a closet full of clothes. Yes, gorl, I’ve been there. And still catch myself saying it!
