They’re in love, but they’re not quite ready to tell someone yet (parents? siblings? non-FBI friends? the BAU gang? it’s up to you) but let’s face it, it’s not easy keeping something like this a secret.

It’s 4 or 5 in the morning, why are they still up?

Tuesday, December 20th: Undercover as a gay couple and falling in love for real

It started out as a simple mission, but feelings are making it way more complicated. What shenanigans do Spencer and Derek end up getting into as they fall for each other?

Wednesday, December 21st: Coming out to the team

They’ve decided it’s time to tell the team. How do they do it, and how does the gang at the BAU react?

Thursday, December 22nd: AU

Coffee shop? Hogwarts? Vaguely (or extremely) inappropriate student/teacher relationship? Wanna throw them into another TV show or movie you love? Pick your favorite AU, imagine our boys in it, and let your brain go wild.

Your mod is a bit of a forgetful idiot.

I’ve had some family stuff going on and despite picking out the dates for this years Moreid Week, I completely forgot to actually come on here, change the dates in the description and announce that I’m taking prompt suggestions until someone sent me an ask.

This year the dates are December 18th to December 24th, though as usual I’ll accept prompt fills til at least January 1st.

If you have prompt suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

I just discovered @its-not-aubrey tagged me in this, and I figured why not do it! I tag any of our lovely followers who feel like doing it, I’d love to hear from you!

Relationship: Single AF (unless the guy from the taco place next door that keeps coming in to where I work and being vaguely flirty with me counts) Zodiac Sign: Taurus Pets: None, my brother is allergic to pretty much everything with fur. When I was a kid we had a gold fish named Oscar, though. Wake up/Sleep times: Varies a bit. Ideally I’d sleep in til 8:30-9 but I’m babysitting this summer too and I have to get up at 6:40 to get there on time. I’m normally in bed between 11:30 and midnight unless there’s something exciting going on. Love or lust: Love. I think we all crave it in some form or another. Not that there’s wrong with a little bit of lust. Lemonade or Iced Tea: Tea. 100%. I don’t mind lemonade, though. Cats or Dogs: Dogs, cats mess with my sinuses big time. Coke or Pepsi: Coke for sure. I’ve never been big on Pepsi, which my family finds weird. Make-up or natural: Mostly natural. I just put on eyeliner and mascara and call it a day, I’m too lazy with that kind of stuff to do more. Ever met a celeb: Nope. I’ve got a list of people I want to meet, though! Smile or Eyes: I tend to notice smiles first, but I’m a sucker for expressive eyes. Light or dark hair: Dark hair, light hair, hair that’s somewhere in between; doesn’t matter, I have no preference. Intelligence or attraction: Intelligence, mainly because in my mind it goes hand-in-hand with humor and making me laugh is a guaranteed way into my heart. Chapstick or lipstick: Chapstick. Last song I listened to: This Means War by Marianas Trench First language: English. At one point I was fairly decent at reading Spanish (speaking it, understanding someone speaking it or writing in it, not so much) but it’s been a few years, so I’m more than a little rusty there.

Happy Doughnut Day

It was the first Friday of June and Spencer was at his desk getting an early start on some paperwork when a mocha colored hand appeared in front of him holding a delicious looking doughnut that was topped with chocolate sprinkles.  Spencer couldn’t help, but lick his lips at the sight of the tasty treat.

“Happy Doughnut Day, Pretty Boy,” said Derek.

“Did you get this just for me?”

“Well, I brought doughnuts for the whole team, but this was the very last chocolate sprinkles doughnut that the bakery had.”

Spencer couldn’t help, but beam at the thought of his boyfriend making sure that he got the one with chocolate sprinkles, which were his favorite.

Pretty soon the whole team was gathered round enjoying the doughnuts Derek brought in.

“Let me guess National Doughnut Day is something that Dunkin Donuts came up with to make more money,” said Penelope just before she bit into a cream filled doughnut.

“Actually,” replied Spencer “National Doughnut was started by the Salvation Army during the Great Depression to honor the women of the Salvation Army who during World War I, among other things, served doughnuts to soldiers.”

“Yep.  My great great grandmother was one of the volunteers who went with the Salvation Army to France to help with the war effort.”  You could hear the pride evident in Derek’s voice as he spoke.

After the last of the doughnuts had been devoured, the team separated and headed to their respective offices and desks.  Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, Spencer pulled Derek in for a quick chocolate flavored kiss.  What a way to start the day.

MoReid Week Day 1 -- First Meeting -- Untitled

This may be expanded upon.

First days were never good days. The butterflies woke him up and often it led to bricks settling with the cereal he would eat for breakfast and shortly followed by the need to throw up everything and quit the day until sunrise tomorrow. But some things just needed to be done and this was one of those things.

I received a message about potential NSFW content. While in general we encourage stuff that’s not extremely explicit, if you go that route, it will be accepted. It will also be tagged NSFW so anyone that doesn’t want to read/see anything of that nature can avoid it (if you really want to avoid it I suggest blacklisting the NSFW tag.)

However, I am going to ask that if you’re writing smut you put it under a read more for those that don’t use XKit to blacklist things and don’t want to see it.

Nice Surprises

So I wanted to do the first prompt for moreid week! 

The First Meeting. 

Derek Morgan had wanted to walk into work that day with some coffee, some time to work on his case files, and no surprises. His head was hurting from the hangover he was sporting, and the last thing he needs is some big case that had them fly out.

He had, unfortunately, not gotten his wish.

It wasn’t a case though, oh no. It was someone called Spencer Reid.
