Memorial Day Weekend 5.23.25
Friday Night.
Iām on tumblr, listening to a spicy Western audiobook, watching the Pacers vs Knicks, Game 2. Maybe the first time all week Iāve felt a little peace. Writing this is making me want to journal but to be honest Iām a little afraid to. Iāve been living in my head for weeks, almost months on head. To empty it all out sounds stressful. Iāll get around to it.
I want a new job not just for more money and to have some space from the current loml, but I want to be the new girl again. The one no one knows about. I come in, I do my little 9-5, and then go home to my world. I essentially do that now but itās stale. (But thank you God for employment, seriously)

Curing my post travel/Sunday blues by making corn and potato chowder. Something about cutting shallots and celery.
Now Iām eating italian bread with salted french butter while I wait for the chowder to thicken. Iām starving for affection.
Iāve switched from COD to GTA as my after work coping video game and Iām having so much fun. I really thrive in story mode.

I hate love these braids. The parts took me forever and they still ended up being trash. But I am obsessed with the pearly pink beads and the length. Itās like this boy, I hate him and think about how I would break up with him but then I love him at the same time. Ugh. Je suis scrambled.

Seasonal depression hit early this year and whew itās knocking me about. Iām tired of New York egos and culture. I miss the realness of people back home in Detrojt.
