I think I’ll live with this pain forever, it’ll guide my every decision. Other people won’t have this demon driving them. I’m either going to take over heaven or hell. Which doesn’t even matter.

I want to run away, get lost and find myself.
You tell me I can’t run away from myself, I’m running away from you. So in a way, I am, because you made me.
Lady Wolf
Come Little Red Riding Hood Come Little Red Riding Hood The little girl which you play she’s ill, she’s ill I will take great care of you
Come Little Red Riding Hood Come Little Red Riding Hood I have many toys, you can play Better toys, better toys I will take great care of you
Take my hand, Give me your cloak litte red wolf we were one we were one we were one we were one
Come Little Red Riding Wolf Come Little Red Riding Wolf Looking so tender in my cloak I promise to love you and lie to you, to you lie to you forever
Come Little Red Riding Wolf Come Little Red Riding Wolf You are too weak, to get up Stay down, stay down I own you little wolf
Took your hand, Gave you my cloak litte red wolf we were one we were one we were one we were one
It’s you that’s ill, Little Red Riding Hood. She bit me She bit me She bit the wolf She bit the wolf
Took your hand, Gave you my cloak litte red wolf we were one we were one we were one we were one
What a wicked creature you are
What happens a tired little weasel puts headphones on and hears a beat.
Kick drum, sparks that beat
Feel that voltage in your chest
Fluttering little sparks
Stopping you from sleeping
Reminding you to get up
Get up
Live. Run, laugh, life, live.
Second drums kick in, jungle rhythm
Shakers for hats
Amen break
Just made this tune flip reverse
Little bounce,
Little bounce,
Little shake.
Now it’s a deep roller
Little House beat
Dirtying up your stereo
Shades down
Vests on
Beats down
Grind.
Grind.
Grind.
You’re in the sound now.
Just rave. On and on. And on.
You’re lost.

Slam Poem Proves that Cosmetic Products Can Be Used For Just About Anything, Including Collapsing the Economy
Megan Falley and Olivia Gatwood performed “Collapse the Economy” at the 2014 National Poetry Slam finals, and the two fired shots at the cosmetic industry. To be more specific, the two pointed out that if women stopped purchasing cosmetics then the economy would literally collapse, and Falley and Gatwood provided some creative ideas on how cosmetics could be repurposed. Spoiler – scented tampons and hairspray make an excellent makeshift bomb.
The Lion Tamer
Where do all the old people go when they get old? I look at you silently swinging from one thought to the next Pendulum swinging, propelling you further forward with each thought Each time gaining a little more understanding about how to survive This train, jumping tracks as it goes Not because it was built that way but because it has to And it gets there eventually, not unscathed And has picked up a whole city of knowledgable wild animals on its way, And by the time it's arrived It's old The lion tamer train still holds its beasts But no one's buying tickets to the show Don't think there's anything to see They just don't know So much overlooked, old lady will you please tell me a story? I want to learn how to tame a lion, too
This is what I like about photographs. They’re proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect.

Sylvia Plath ponderings
Start your life unhappy,
Then you’ll know what you want to be when you grow up.
Smile till you can’t stop - you’ll need to make up for lost time.
#explainyourusername
What’s in a name?
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet
A beat by any other name would still compete
With the pumping heart in your chest
But we called it a heart
And now tempo’s not it’s only part
To play.
And maybe that rose could have smelled even sweeter,
If it had been named on say, a Thursday,
Called it Juliet.
This hashtag was a record
Two hundred thousand explanations of a name
Clearly struck a chord,
With One Direction fans the world over,
Young girls whose identity is wrapped in
Zayn Malik’s cute chin
Or Harry’s laugh, his little grin
@fictionalzjm told us
“fictional means not real
And Zayn Malik is not real”
At least this was a little playful with the appeal
of a self-given identity
I’m not going tribute much more of my words
to One-D (sorry Lee)
Just this from @NachosHarry, who
“Loves Nachos...and Harry”
Sweet.
So, you love
“Nachos...and cheese?”
Standard.
I love Hisammudein Hussein Onn
Whose handle ends in a nickname, from
The kids at school
H-2-O!
Want to meet those kids
LIttle sick heads.
But then there’s poor @RealMandyRain
Who sadly defends her username
“I swear I’m not a stripper” Before she’s judged in vain
We’re not assuming anything Mandy
- you’re cool.
I don’t know about you, but
I see a username,
Don’t lodge it in my brain
I just -
Dismiss it as a label.
What could I see in a name - until you told me?
Now I can see a little bit more of your story
Hi,
Nice to meet you
I’m @BeatsbyGrace
Obsessed with drum and bass
And other beats
Can’t live without them -
Think about what would happen if I lost the ability to hear
And, I just think of Beethoven
And wonder how he did it
Should change my username to
@NachosandBeethoven
Just sayin’
Peace.
Little Angel
I sat next to you in the park, excited
While you replied to that puppy’s bark
Your fluffy blonde hair barking back
Playfully back
Shining at him like sunshine
You dye it on purpose
To bring happiness, wordless
Even on a day with sheep-filled skies
Shrouding the grey with your guise
- little Angel.
Vague Wave
I’m listening to you
And as you completely change your tune
I change with you
Heart starts pounding
Smile beaming off my little face
If you were a person I would jump up, you’d grab me
Play with me till your grin nearly broke your head
And then take me back
And I’d go with you again
My heart slows down but the smile still beams
Because I know I can ask you to take me back again, at any time
Until I’ve played so much, I need a little space
But I never forget
Locked in my starred playlist forever
Or, at least, until Spotify goes bust.
I think life is like your little tune.
Just unconnected moments that lift you off the floor
Don’t know why we keep trying to connect the dots between these moments
Maybe they are just dots
Maybe there is no line
Maybe it’s just a lifetime of moments - trying to be the best moments they can be.
Just like your little tune.

Anatomy of the Orange Eater
http://ebeforeiblog.com
Translucent and Sticky like orange flesh With big citrus tears And sweet fibrous fingers Swollen with care and contempt She’s paled by winter’s breath And burnt sienna in sun-heat Designed exterior keeps her safe But inch inside Peel back to where She’s all sinew and sincerity And sweetness with a sting She lingers on your lips Saturates your fingertips Colors the air a shade of delicacy Your beamy faced orange eater
