This is where the MORF Binder scheme have sent binders over the past 4 years!
Hi! I'm Cav, and I'm a 16 year old transgender male. I don't have money just laying around, and I'm really serious about my transgender identity. Unfortunatly, I don't have a binder. That's why I made this. It would mean a lot to me to not feel insecure in this feminine body, so a binder would he...
Hey guys, I’m trying to raise some money to help pay for a really nice binder so I can feel more comfortable in my body. Any amount of money would help me! Please share this :-)
Have you checked out morfbinders?
Send me a message at [email protected] and I'll add you to the list for the next catalogue. You just need to cover the postage costs but the binders are free. We have had some fundraising money donated so hopefully next few months will get some brand new binders in stock.
Need to bind but strapped for cash?
If you’re unable to buy one or short for cash, don’t worry, you can get used binders through different programs. Big Brothers Used Binding Program, In a Bind, Binder Boys, Replace the Ace, Black Trans Men’s Brother to Brother Binder Grant, Cheap / Free Binders Facebook group, (UK) MORF Bidner Exchange, (Canada) Come as You Are- Binder Bucks Recycling Program.
You’ve got other options too, like mailing lists, livejournal, or even tumblr. Just be sure you know what kind of binder you’re getting through these programs, some may give away ones that have different requirements than the average binder. Always be on the look out for people who may be giving away an unsafe binder as well.
Hi, Momma! Saw the post on binders, and I want to chime in, because several places have FREE binders for those who cannot afford them! We have:
In A Bind You must fill out an application, but those who are financially unable to buy one and need one? You qualify! I am linking directly to the page on how to get a binder. This is for teen, up to 21 years of age.
Replace the Ace is another one that works to give out the DONATED binders. This is meant for those using the Ace Bandage!
Morf Binder Exchange Scheme Live in the UK? This is the one for you!
These are just three of the most commonly used services for those unable to afford their own binders. I hope this helps!
We’re a little late!
We’ve released a new design to raise money for MORF Binder Scheme, available on Redbubble and Spreadshirt!
A portion of each sale goes to MORF Binders to help them buy binders for transgender folks in the UK!
Even if you can’t afford to buy anything (we even have them on stickers!) you can help by reblogging this/putting it in your queue. Please help us raise money for a good cause!
Our stall today at Sparkle in the park Manchester - we gave out loads of binders to people for free and got some donations too! Really awesome day and the guys from BUFF Manchester have raised money from their bake sale to buy more brand new binders to give to people. So over whelmed by the generosity of the community and by the money raised. It will help so many people.

“ I just really wanted to let you know that i just got the binder (i've been away so it probably got here like a week ago but it's just now for me), and it fits perfectly. I was worried about that, having asked for the wrong size. It took me about 30 minutes of fiddling with it to get it on but when I did I was just almost completely flat and with a slightly loose shirt or just like two shirts i should be good and look flat and I'm wearing it right now and it's s o p e r f e c t I just want to sob I'm so happy and because I was lucky enough to get a half one I wont overheat in this southern heat. Thank you so much, I just had to gush for a bit because I really am happy and i wouldn't have this if it weren't for you all and just, thank you so much for offering this service, you are just hella good people. And my datemate pointed out that you put sir on the package and that made my entire day because i a l w a y s get called ma'am and just hearing sir for once on something like this was perfect. thank you all. idk i'm sorry i'm rambling but i just have always been taught to thank people and i'm really moved that you all offer such a service to help people like me so i guess i got carried away with my thank you”
May Binders... All gone!
We are on the 13th of the month and all the binders that we had, about 20 in this months catalogue, have all been taken. It’s getting quicker and quicker each month, and the catalogue was sent to over 180 people this time so lots of people have missed out and gone back on the waiting list.
I hate telling people that they haven’t got a binder this time, dissapointing so many people is always really hard to do. I would love to be in a position to sort out everyone who asks for a binder with one, and I can only do this if the donations continue to come in.
Unfortunately we didn't get the funding from Manchester Pride that I asked for, which is a great shame because it could have helped loads of people, but I guess they can’t help everyone.
If there is anyone out there that has a binder that they could donate to the scheme so that I can pass it onto a brother who is desperate for their first one, please get in touch with me [email protected] and i’ll reply with morf info.
Radio interview !
MORF and the binder scheme will be on the radio! I have done a radio interview with them which will be on Pure 107.8FM, and then on the podcast website http://podcast.pureradio.org.uk on the Under The Rainbow programme which focuses on local community groups! Their facebook page is http://facebook.com/undertherainbowonpure The first part of the interview, about MORF, will be broadcast on Thursday 14th May, between 8pm and 9pm. Then the second part of the interview, about the binder exchange scheme, will be broadcast on Thursday 21st May, between 8pm and 9pm. Tune in guys!
Swimming vest and shorts donated to the MORF binder scheme - great for compression while swimming/water activities! Email me [email protected] if your interested and you will get the next catalogue for May if you would like to request it.
MORF Binders will be at Sparkle Manchester 11th July - Come say Hello!
This year MORF - Manchester's Ftm/transmasculine support group will be having a stall in the park during Sparkle in Manchester at Sackville park on Saturday 11th July. We will be in the park from 12 pm until 7pm with a stall with information about MORF and the Binder scheme that we run. If you would like more information about MORF, or would like to donate or receive a binder (compression vest) or just to stop by and say hello and have a chat to Elliott or Charlie.
There will be a space to chill out, to look at the binders we have available and somewhere to try them on if you need to.
We will be next to the BUFF Manchester stall too which will have lots of yummy cakes on sale, the proceeds of which will go to funding MORFs binder scheme .
We hope to see you there!

Kind donations from my trip to Berlin! These binders will be included in the next catalogue. I am always overwhelmed by the generosity of our trans* community and how we help each other not just in the same country but world wide too.
Thanks for donations!
Some awesome people have reposted and reblogged the shout out for donations and now there's £110 in the kitty to buy some binders with. It's just astounding the depth of generosity our community had. I am so proud to be one and a part of it. Even more news is that Buff Manchester have announced they will be fundraising for the binder scheme this year from there events at sparkle Manchester celebrations. So many legends not enough thanks!
This is why I do this...
"The binder's here since a few days ago, I tried it on immediately hahaahh (and failed of course) but I finally nailed it and I'm so happy and confident now to walk around. Thanks so much for the binder, I'm really glad you sent it for me :')... You have made my day ever since the binder came... So have a good day cause you deserve it! :))"
MORF needs your help!
There are only 2 binders left in this months catalogue. Currently there are 16 people waiting for the next catalogue as there are none left to give away that will fit them. Some people have been on the waiting list for over 3 months. If you have a spare binder, compression vest, swimming shirt, wrap around sports compression garment or anything of the sort please consider giving it to the scheme so I can pass it onto people who are desperate for their own. It doesn't matter what state of wear, I can repair! And some one will appreciate having it no matter what. You can also help out by donating envelopes, postage bags and other stationary items like package tape, sticky labels etc. It all helps to keep the scheme running. If you aren't able to donate you can still help out by passing on the message, badgering your mates who have got spare binders to get them posted or get a collection going of binders and other materials at your local support groups together to send on. If you have anything to donate or any queries please contact me on [email protected] and I'll reply with all the info and address you need to post them to me. Thank you all in advance. We have such an awesome and generous community which we need to keep the scheme going. Elliott (the binder guy)
