Hello!!!

I feel so bad for abandoning all of you- 😭 But yes! I do plan to update AVC some time in the future. Unfortunately after uploading the first chapter, I had to start focusing on school as I'm in a crucial year for my future.

No need to fret though! I am working on Chapter 2 slowly, it might not be as long as chapter 1, but it will still be my writing and hopefully- showing the charm of Jeremy and Michael as always.

I got married a year before the war.

My husband, my daughter, my mother-in-law, and my uncle and I lived in a house before it was bombed.

We were happy until the war broke out.

The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

Here, hell began for us in Gaza. We lost our home and became homeless. My husband had nothing, and I had nothing.

My husband, his family, and I were displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. Those were months of longing for my mother and brothers who were in northern Gaza.

My brothers Ahmed and Abdullah remained in the northern Gaza Strip. We were displaced several times because I live in Rafah, a border area close to the army.

During our displacement, we left the house and ran down the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the thunderbolt. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape... Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers, the apple of my eye, Ahmed. Ahmed left no children. And my mother is in pain because they departed to God without saying goodbye, without a kiss on their foreheads, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house was severely damaged by demolition and the falling of stones from their places, which sheltered and protected us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out candles that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better and more dignified life. I appeal to you to help me support myself, my mother, my loved ones, and my family. What you provide makes a difference in our lives as individuals. We live in a world that has forgotten the meaning of humanity and giving. May God bless you all. Please help me help my family. Anything you provide, even if it is small, will mean a lot to me. Please donate to me.

Life is not the things that we do, it's who we're doing them with

I've had the exact same routine last year and this year and yet I've been disassociating far less and that strange empty feeling in my stomach that would genuinely ruin my day doesn't even exist anymore.

I think it's mostly because of the people I met this year and the people I got closer with, I love Be More Chill because it really made me rediscover my passion for everything, it genuinely made me see the world in a brighter area and I met everyone that has made my life more bearable to live by and I genuinely feel more like a person now that I have them :) BMC does great things

To those people, I gen can't thank y'all enough for just being here even if we're not that close. I haven't felt this alive in years until right now. I genuinely admire every single bits about y'all and you all are the best people in my life . You guys are the most interesting crowd of people ever, /pos mayhaps :D

Save my little children in Gaza 😭💔🇵🇸

I am Kholoud from Gaza. I no longer have a home, nor do I have any security. The war destroyed my home, and I now live in a dilapidated tent, but that's not the real pain. The real pain is that I am a mother who sees my children suffering every day without being able to do anything to save them. My children suffer from a rare skin disease (ichthyosis psoriasis), a cruel disease that causes their skin to crack, bleed, and burn with pain. They can't sleep, they can't play, they can't live like other children.

Their tiny bodies can't bear it anymore, and all I can do is hug them and try to hide my tears. $500 every three days, that's the price I need to ease his pain... but it's a sum I don't have, and I don't even have enough to feed them. I hope you donate the amount, or half of it, or whatever you can.

As a mother, I appeal to your merciful heart: Please, don't leave me alone in this agony. Your small help could be the difference between them continuing to live or succumbing to the pain. My children deserve life, they deserve a childhood without suffering... and you could be their lifeline.
