I have. Lots of ideas for mori. But one of my favs is that he emotionally shut down years ago and is masking by taking on a persona that is a mix of one of his abusers and an old friend of his.
He simply suppresses his emotions in order to reach the logical optimal solution and lead the mafia.

Anyways do you think that mori was s/a ed as a child. I think that he was. Specifically 12. I think that's why he has a deeper empathy to those kids. (+ Them being easier to convince)

No. I find those SA hcs and theories tasteless, but I do agree he'd like birds, specifically ravens and seagulls. Probably dogs too.
I think he'd be a good dad regardless of their gender if his circumstances allowed it. He'd dress them up in expensive western clothings, take them to the finest places, gifts, and letters when he's away, and top tier education and protection would be a top priority. A girl dad? Sure. He has Elise. He knows what to do. He wouldn't make any creepy comments about it, though, because this time it's a real child, not himself.
Since it was requested of me, Kafka-sensei's comments on twitter about Mori-sensei over the years:
First point: This is directly sourced from his public twitter. You can look up any of these for yourself to confirm it; I have included dates. However, OBVIOUSLY, please don't bother Kafka-sensei on twitter.
Second point: Many of these tweets were from 2014-2016, when BSD was new and he was publicly chatting and responding to Japanese twitter followers and friends. As you can see, these are not viral tweets or aimed at big international audiences, but responding to new readers and friends.
This casual chatter was not aimed at or intended for a non-Japanese-speaking audience at this point so you can perhaps get a sense of how early Japanese readers and fans were reacting to the character of Mori-sensei. If YOUR culture and fandom would react differently, great. The world's a big place.
Third point: Oh my god I do not care about any wank/disk horse that arises from this, do not involve me, I am thirty or forty years old and I do not need this, this is a fictional story about superheroes, etc.

KAFKA ON MORI OUGAI THE AUTHOR:
He's talked about (such as with Kunikida) that when he rereads the various literary works before writing his story, he is so struck by the strong personalities of the authors displayed in their writing that he barely has to put any effort into making them into a fictional character.
"[...] The contrast between the literary legend Mori Ougai-sensei and the private man Mori Rintarou is just amazing. He's someone who loved chazuke (tea over rice) topped with manju (a sweet dessert bun). No matter how you try to adapt him into a manga character, the real man's (complex) personality makes it difficult!"
My comments: The vibe I get is sort of "he's so weird he's almost beyond parody (affectionate)". It's true that a fair number of fictional adaptations with Mori Ougai as a character make him both dignified and eccentric at the same time, unless they are learning hard into his respectable professional reputation as a soldier and scholar. Everyone is equally horrified by the manju chazuke though.
"Although it's already passed, 2/17 was Mori Ougai-sensei's birthday according to the Gregorian calendar. Accordingly last weekend I went to the Mori Ougai Memorial Museum in Bunkyo Ward; Sensei's powerful and skillful brushwork truly reflects his personality. There's movie footage of him walking..."
My comments: At the museum there is a few seconds of silent movie footage of a crowd in front of Ueno Station; you can Mori Ougai walking near the front.
DAZAI, CHUUYA, AGE 15 (and Mori): The initial version of this novel was released as bonus theater goods for the second week of DEAD APPLE movie.
"About the bonus novel: The second-week bonus novel, Dazai, Chuuya, Age Fifteen, unlike the parallel-world story of last week, is a prequel set within the same universe as the main series. It tells the story of Chuuya before he joined the Mafia, Dazai when he was still a young prodigy, and Mori, the novice Boss who had yet to fully consolidate his control over the organization. Everyone is doing their best."
Regarding the second-week bonus novel: I originally began writing this story with the intention of putting the spotlight upon Chuuya and Dazai, but as I continued writing I gradually started to feel, "Wait… isn't this actually the tale of Mori-Papa raising his kids?"
Also, no spoilers, but some fairly important information is actually revealed within this story. If you are curious about the secrets surrounding Chuuya and Dazai, I urge you to head to the theater this week!

My comments: It would be weird as hell to advertise an upcoming character to a new reader who presumably loves that specific author, if you thought they'd hate the portrayal. It's possible, just an odd approach.

The meaning of words can alter significantly depending on context and culture. Even if the word is the same, it can mean radically different
Please do not argue with me about the topic of lo/licon characters; I am not Japanese myself so I am reliant upon observation and education as to how any subject is handled in another culture. This article's author is a Japanese-born-and-raised professional translator, and he links to commentary from other translators.
It's true that "jokes" can be extremely hurtful or triggering, and I personally don't say silly things that hurt people once I know it's hurtful. But I think the evidence stacks on the side of Kafka both being an affectionate fan of both Mori the author and Mori his own character.
I dunno man! But I don't get the impression from Japanese fandom that Mori's fawning over Elise is considered anything more than cringe.

Imagine mori crashes out on fukuzawa yelling and kicking at him and everyone is just shook like "huh??? Is this the same person??" Bc mori doesn't really lash out so easily
