Why is self-dx on your DNI? You know not everyone can afford a diagnosis/has the ability to get therapy/talk to a doctor, and if it's properly researched then there's no harm in it.

That is true anon not everyone can afford it. I completely understand that but I think it's a dangerous fire to use self-dx. That is true there isn't really no harm in self-DXing oneself of one's issue to a certain extent. To me, I'm just uncomfortable when people self-dx when it comes to certain things.

I'm not saying everyone who self-dx are bad people. Just had to deal with people who rubbed me the wrong way. I did this too in my youth but realized that I was playing with something I shouldn't have. But if you want to self-dx then I suppose it's okay and it's none of my business. Hope this makes some sense and have a nice day.
