Guys! What can I say! @wondercon this year was nothing short of PERFECT! Trust me when I say there will be more posts to come but this one is just gonna highlight this one special moment! Yesterday I got stopped and bestowed “Award Winning Costume 2023”. Something I didn’t even realize I’ve been working towards since I was 14. Serendipitous that it happened while I was wearing Tiana to gain some thing I never knew I needed. I’m ELATED that my hard work is being scene and recognized! And so much so that I was even invited to join the San Diego Comic Con Masquerade! I genuinely think I’m still in shock! Hey Spooky Kids. I know there’s been a lot of radio silence from me lately. Just letting you all know that I’m finally okay. These last couple months have been incredibly hard. Though I won’t get into all the details publicly. The people who know, know. I took this hiatus for mental health reasons and I’m glad I did. I can’t stress enough how important it is to put your mental health first. And I’ll admit that I wasn’t doing that in any healthy outlets lately. But somehow I’m surviving. I’m persevering, one small step at a time. I’m not only better mentally but physically too. I will get back to creating content soon. My podcast Midnight Tea will be back shortly with new episodes. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃🖤🧡💀👻😈🍡🍬🍫 and Monster High Monday! Today I wanna do a throwback to 12 years ago when I first attempted to cosplay my all time favorite Ghoul, Clawdeen Wolf. Sure, I wasn’t as detail oriented then as I am now with my cosplays but for a first attempt she looked great! This was also the same year @monsterhigh first debuted at San Diego Comic Con that July. Oddly enough I didn’t see their booth that year at con but did see the dolls on shelves at Toys R Us a month later in August of that year and I HAD TO have them. So that Clawdeen doll I’m holding is a 2010 original! I still have her in perfect condition today! Next year in 2011 is when this costume (a little more spruced up) and I made it to Comic Con with some ghouls to say hi to the MH Boo Crew!
