"Talk to me about it." Jack insisted. Maybe he should be taking a more active role in what was going on with the younger part of their group.

"Always the same dream. I head home to find my parents are actually at home, Luca's talking to them, but they cannot seem to hear or see me. They pack for some kind of trip and just... Leave." he stated, shaking his head. "They leave me... alone."

"I’ve always been observant. You can’t hope to be a good duelist if you don’t know what’s going on around you." Jack said, looking down at Lua. "Mostly, nothing’s really wrong. But today… something’s bothering you. And it’s making you act out more to cover it up."

"I just had a bad dream, that's all. Nothing to worry about." he finally relented, in truth it was the dream that scared him the most. He went home to find his parents there. Luca was there and then... They left. Like he didn't exist. Just left him there alone. It was his worst nightmare, that loneliness that ate at him.

"...." Okay so he'd dropped the act. "...When did you get so observant anyway? You're supposed to be bratty and pick on me, then we're supposed to laugh about it afterwards." he grumbled.

… Relief? That was weird. He had no reason to feel relieved. Nevertheless, he dumped Lua onto the ground and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Seriously; what was with that look on your face earlier? Did you eat something bad? It’s not my fault if you did."

"You left your cookies out, Luca and I got to them, now I'm back from the dead to haunt youuuuu." Hey, couldn't blame him for trying, right? He didn't want to tell, he didn't want to get made fun of for being weak, or told to go home or something equally stupid. Please let this work.
