He was ready. He was ready to say goodbye. He knew he had to, and he had finally come to that conclusion.
No matter how many times you mentally prepare yourself there is no real preparation for saying goodbye to your fiancé.
There is no book to guide you through it, there is only your own thoughts and dreams which you wish you could have had.
The things you could have wished you said sooner and the things you wished you had done sooner as well.
It was odd how much a room could spin when you entered it from emotional state. Doctor and nurse stood around his bed ready to disconnect the machines that were trying to keep life to an already dead form.
There was a slow nod from the scientist’s head as they went to start with the removal. Machine which signalled life was turned off and mechanic constantly tried to swallow the huge lump that was in his throat.
However, what happened next could only be defined as a miracle.
He thought he was losing his mind at first truthfully. But as he stared on he realized it really had happened - He opened his eyes.
Emotions bubbled to the surface as tears rolled down the mechanic’s face and his entire body shook, a hand holding trembling lips as he began to sob only to be left standing in the same place he stood unable to move as he shook his head and only one statement flew free from his hysteric state;
"You idiot! I thought you were dead!"
