Panel tonight!
Georgia’s drone business is one of the top 15 in the nation measured by the number of exemptions for commercial drone operations granted by the Federal Aviation Administration, according to an industry group.
Businesses in the state have received from the FAA a total of 84 exemptions to fly unmanned aircraft, giving Georgia the 12th-highest number in the country, according to the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. California has received the most exemptions, at 360.
Businesses have been using drones for everything from aerial photography — the most common application — to inspection of utilities or construction sites, to filming for movies or television shows.
Among the firms in Georgia with clearance from the FAA to operate commercial drones is Phoenix Unmanned, which is pursuing the use of drones in the film industry. But many of the companies with exemptions are small businesses.
The FAA has been granting the exemptions since September 2014, and nationwide has approved more than 4,600 of the 15,000 petitions it has received, according to AUVSI.
Beautiful weather! Enjoy it this week!

Interesting!
The City vs The Suburbs?
Do you prefer the high density hustle and bustle of the city?
Or does the quieter suburban life sound appeal?
The reason we ask is because of the options available in Morrow, Georgia. Understanding trends and needs is important for any city to thrive. While Atlanta’s startup scene is thriving now, it is lacking in aspects relative to the New York and California scenes.Â
We see the trends of driving. People would rather not drive than drive and for good reason; the infrastructure alone doesn’t exactly make an afternoon stroll attractive as it used to be with the potholes littered on some interstates.Â
However, the harsh reality of the United States real estate climate has caused inner city housing to increase substantially. Rent is increasing. Certain industries have not seen an increase in wages. With decreasing gasoline prices interpreted as a tax break essentially, where can one move up in the economic ladder. We want everyone who wants a home in Morrow, Georgia to get a home however we realize the economic realities coupled with changing tastes.
So what does this all mean?Â
Well we want to ask the people, based on inner city housing prices [both sale/rent] vs the commute factor of suburban life, which do you prefer and why?

The top ways teens in the US discover brands is roughly the same as adults: WOM, TV ads (although 9% less than adults), online ads (although 9% more than adults) and in person at stores. But some large differences appear for non-dominant ways:
Teens are twice more likely to discover a brand on Instagram than adults and 50% of them discover a brand on the network.
There is a 10% gap vs. adult for discovery on Facebook lending credence to the Facebook exodus by teens CW.
Only 29% of teens learn about new brands through magazines vs. 45% of adults.
Brand marketers, please take note.
We will have to take note!

To-go meals are even better when they’re delivered to your door.
Beginning today, Tuesday, March 22, users can enjoy the new UberEATS app to order food from metro Atlanta restaurants then have it delivered. Here are a few other things to chew on:
Hours have been extended from 8 a.m. to midnight every day.
Deliveries are made within 30-45 minutes for a $3.99 delivery fee, but to celebrate the launch, UberEATS is waiving the delivery fee for a limited-time.
An expanded selection of restaurants spanning the entire ITP corridor from downtown to Decatur and up to Sandy Springs is now included.
According to Peter Hsu, general manager for UberEATS Atlanta, “Uber’s partners are at the heart of our business. We’re working with top restaurants who recognize our commitment to quality, and who value always having an Uber driver partner around the corner to deliver a meal while it’s still hot and fresh out of the kitchen.”
Those restaurant partners Hsu mentioned includes Antico Pizza, Cafe Bombay, Bellina Alimentari, FLIP Burger, Bell Street Burritos, Flying Biscuit, Murphy’s, El Super Pan, King of Pops and more.
Hungry for good food, delivered fast? Download the app, which is available for iOS and Android, at www.ubr.to/eatsapp. Note: Be sure to scroll down and click “Atlanta” to access it.
