His face said it all. He wasnāt handling this place well. He still had a spork, Kou tried to kill him twice, and his loved ones even returned as zombies. Was this divine punishment? Was this a curse? He just didnāt know.
āIām doing fine.ā He finally said, even though he was dead inside.

Hands came to seize about the smallerās shoulders, leaning in to rest his chin on the top of his head. āNe, ne Azusa!~ Want to know a secret? Hm?āĀ
"A secret?" He asked,Ā his eyes looking up at the other with a curious gaze. He didn't move away from Kou when he lied his head on top of his own. "What kind of secret??"
It was them. They came back to him! Azusa stared at the the figures standing in the ocean, a smile appearing on his face. He couldnāt believe his eyes. He hadnāt thought that they would come back thanks to this festival. They can be a family again. All of them. Kou would have no choice but to accept them now!
āJustin, Melissa, Christina!ā He called out to them. He was still hurting from Kouās earlier anger, but that didnāt matter now. All that mattered to him was that his old family and new family would finally come together. He looked at Kou and Yui with the smile still growing on his face. His eyes were practically glittering with happiness in the moonlight whilst he took a few steps back towards the water. Azusa began to laugh in glee as his body shook and trembled. He was so elated--ecstatic even--that the celebration really did hold up to its meaning.
āWe can be a family. ā¦All of us.ā He said to the two blonds, especially to his big brother. He hasnāt felt this alive in a long time. The absolute feeling of adrenaline raced through his body. He held his arms open to the oncoming form of Justin. He was ready to accept the others into his life once more. He was ready to accept all the pain and torment again. His reason for living came back.
Or, at least he thought so until the smell of death and rot hit his nose. The shambling body of Justin, with marks of the ropes from gallows even more present, sent a feeling of dread through the younger brotherās body. No, no! It wasnāt supposed to be like this! He pushed back against Justin and quickly ran back to Kou with a look of pure despair on his face.

Ah, yes. Albeit he had gotten the text ahead of time and made sure to the youngest over to his apartment earlier than necessary. Making sure there wouldnāt a hitch in any planning they had done prior, as if it placed urgency upon going to this portion of an event. A nap persisted upon the couch cushions; unaware if Azusa had follow suit or not. Whether he did or not, the blond was up not a few minutes later with an twinge of irritation. Crossing to the door, the blond pulled the door open on its hinges, his gaze falling to the petite blonde standing outside.Ā
A silence remaining before he took a moment to turn over his shoulder, calling out to the other inside.Ā āNe, Azusa! Cāmon! Yui is here!āĀ
Face turning back to flash a smile to Yui.Ā āM neko-chan, hi!~ I donāt know is he? Unless that was someone else who was waiting with me. Are you that excited to go? Hm?āĀ

This celebration had Azusa excited. To think he would have a chance to give remembrance to his first family. The youngest Mukami had sped to Kouās apartment the moment he received the text that they were going to the party. He didnāt think Kou would be interested, but I guess thatās just how he was; his brother was both unpredictable and predictable somehow.
āIām coming... just give me... a second.ā He finished wrapping his bandages and made his way over to Kou, waving to Yui in greeting. His hands nervously fixed his hat.Ā āI hope... it wonāt be too crowded. I want... to be able... to do as much as I can.ā

Azusa stared at the strange man, his eyes immediately going to his ears. He tilted his head and moved closer to him. His hands reached out slowly to grab the ear that sat on top of the otherās head. Was it rude to suddenly try and touch another? Yes. Did the youngest Mukami care? Not particularly.

Why couldnāt Kou understand? It wasnāt hard to comprehend. They were family. They gave everything to him. Yet, he continued to belittle them, slander them. It was akin to spittingĀ on their grave. Azusa was panting heavily, his body not used to getting so worked up and speaking much quicker than usual.Ā
āYet.. you wonāt... accept them...ā He hissed in pain. His tolerance had taken a nose dive. Usually, heād be ecstatic that Kou was getting physical, but this was a serious topic. He wasnāt going to let Kou say whatever he wanted. They deserved to be part of this family. The other three wouldnāt have found Azusa were it not for those three.
āTheyāre family...! They deserve... to be family...!ā He grabbed on to Kouās arm and tried to force him off. But, his hands were shaking. He just wanted their memory to not be soiled by everyone in this house.

Azusa shook his head. Injuring people wasn't the issue! Azusa gave a sigh and took back the spork. He placed it back in his pockket to keep it safe. He can only hope to get back his knives. He already can feel him itching for the feeling of the cool blade biting into his skin. This was going to be a challenge for him.
āThatās not.... really the issue....ā He looked at Kou.Ā āJustin... Melissa... Chistina... they will leave....ā Even though his healing was slowed down, it still meant they would fade and vanish. He didnāt want them to fade away. The idea was terrifying enough as it was and this useless spor wasnāt helping him.

Azusa Honors his brothers. They mean everything to him despite how much he tries to provoke them into hitting him. Azusa truly cares about all three of them and what theyāve done for him. He could never see himself betraying the only family he has.
