Hey there! My name is Morteraphan, I'm a concept artist and illustrator. I'm in love with original worlds, magic, mysteries and different characters! In my free time I work on my original projects. Important note: I draw both anthro/human art, and sometimes I draw cute things, but my settings contain dark macabre themes. 16+ I use Procreate and standart brushes. Bots and scammers are getting completely out of control here. I get at least 1-3 messages under literally every post, and sometimes I see that it was just someone's account before it was hacked. :(
How do you do the hair fur thingy being so well? How can i make an oc with hair that is fur and that is long and that doesn’t look stupid. I have been trying to do that for a while now but it itss harder to do with longer fur. I’ve always prefered the look of hair that is just fur that looks like a hairstyle though.
Like can you give me any tips or tricks or something? Maybe show some sketch of how you attach the fur onto the guy you got?
Hey there! If I understand correctly, you don't know how to give an anthro character a more natural hairstyle? Honestly, I don't even know what advice I can give because it often depends on the style. I have a decorative style, so it's easier, but if you draw more realistically, it's always more challenging. I think you could try experimenting with different hairstyles, doing more sketches? Lengthening the fur on the cheeks, ears and neck, to combine it with hair?
UPD: Thank you all SO MUCH for your help! 💛💛💛
I hope I answered everyone, but sorry if I missed anyone! I've received some really helpful tips here and on other socials - I'll post links to my posts below in case you want to find more tips too:

Artists with iPads (and other similar), I need your help! How have you set up your workspace? What techniques do you use to sit without hurting your back and neck? Stands, brackets, for example? I'll explain my situation below (maybe it will be helpful for someone else too)
Unfortunately, I don't have a big comfortable workspace. Currently, I just sit in a chair with my legs crossed, a large pillow on top, and my iPad on a small stand. I try to sit more or less correctly, but it seems like my neck is constantly tilted. Three days ago, I started feeling dizzy and having problems with coordination. The next day, it improved, but it didn't go away completely. Today, I panicked and went to a neurologist I know, who I usually see for back and neck treatment. The main guess is that I'm pinching the capillaries in my neck, preventing enough blood flow to my head. And I think the problem is primarily my workspace, as I haven't had any recent injuries or anything. I hope we're treating the right things now and that it will help. But I'm really worried that this could be a problem that will come back. I've had chronic neurological issues since childhood and am used to this being my weak spot, but this is new one. And this is something that worries me greatly, and I want to at least try to change something.
So if you have any tips on how to set up a workstation with an iPad or similar tablet so that the posture is AT LEAST somewhat healthy, I'd be very grateful for any help! However, I have to rule out a standing workstation right away (again, because of the back). I'd be very grateful for your answers, and thank you for reading all of this. I don't like to dump a ton of text, but I tried to describe the problem in as much detail as possible for better understanding. Take care of yourself everyone, health is such a fragile thing. ;-;
Feel free to share any similar problems you've had/are facing and how you've dealt with them. Perhaps you'll find some insight here, too!
I want to return to ceramics again and taking the first step! I still have to contact the studio and find out their terms/prices, but for now I've bought this air-drying clay to make some fun little things.
And also this simple tools set, I had almost the same one in my first ceramics course... later, after constant use, the wooden tools became polished haha
This is more of an ask for the artist. I SWEAR I've seen you use a broken vase motif for Lucian before somewhere. Could you explain what it symbolises?
Hey there! Yes, indeed, I used this motif several times! This is partly a symbol of his being a medium - he has no "soul" in the conventional sense (that's why there is a name "Hollow Vessel" for one of the pieces). But it's also a symbol of how Lucian has perceived himself over the years - a pretty vase, a pretty face, an object without personality or core, broken and empty. (It will get better with time and when he will stop being lonely)
I'm so grateful to people who don't unfollow from me because of adopts/comms posts, but also help to share them and comment. Like, I really understand how annoying it can be, and I wish I didn't have to depend on it financially and could just draw and post art. ;-; Thank you
