Hi, I loved your post about The Turning! Have you thought about making any more? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Oh my! I have no idea how old this is, I haven't logged into tumblr for about a year but I’m more than happy too! (let me know if you want more) 

SPOILERS!

I think it would've been better if they turned the movie into a found family situation liked they teased at the end, and I know that the movie probably would have done worse in the box office because the people who rate the movies hate movies with multiple genres, which is bullshit. I personally love found family but maybe that's me just projecting my need for a loving family, whoopsie. (I can link a good fanfiction that goes off this idea if you’re interested)

Also I might just be very dumb but I thought I was very clever when I realised that the “possession” was just a metaphor (I hope i’m using that right) for people who repeat what their abusers did when they don't receive help. 

I also bought the DVD with the alternate ending, (which you can probably find on youtube) which wasn't ANY better than the movies ending, still abrupt and dumb. But the spider trailer scene was in it! which if I were to analyze it very closely maybe it means that the spider was miles learned abusive behavior, and the spider came out of his throat (after kate choked him out because she was hallucinating quint as him) was him realising what he was doing and realising he needs to stop? 

I also bought the book! like a week or so after I saw the movie in theaters, and i’m going to be honest I have not picked it up since. But If I were to read it I will write something on it! And if you have anything else you'd like to know what I think of it, go ahead and ask! (you can ask for headcanons and stuff too)

Modern Day Avatar AU where Hakoda adopts the gaang with his husband Bato, and they live in a healthy environment where they are able to process and work through their trauma. And get what they deserve and need to develop into wonderful adults :).

(Sokka and katara would be hakoda's biological kids. He adopts the others in the order of when they joined the gaang in the show)
