Most Rated returns to The Troubadour to host a live acoustic showcase on the 6th of November, presenting the best singer-songwriters from London and the Netherlands.
MICHAEL PRINS As the winner of Holland's Best singer-songwriter competition 2013, Michael Prins represents the best of The Netherlands its eclectic new music scene. He started his career at a young age, but made his big break through by recently winning the national televised competition The Best Singer-Songwriter, performinghisown brand of Dutch folk music in front of millions of people. Michael Prins will make his way over to London introducing you to his Rivertown Fairytales.
Supporting Michael Prins at The Troubadour will be a fantastic line-up of London based musicians and song-writers. Featuring the talents of Tallulah Rendall, Yngve and Aidan Parle.
Tallulah Rendall Tallulah Rendall’s music is a unique blend of rock tinged with some folk influences. Over the years she has performed with key figures in the music industry including Jools Holland and Shirley Bassey. Following her UK and German tour, she will make a rare appearance at the Troubadour to perform her new material including her single 'Canary'.
Yngve Wieland Following his Most Rated sponsored appearance at Altersonic New Music festival earlier this year, the Most Rated ‘Hall of Fame’ member and singer-songwriter Yngve Wieland will bring influences of American folk, blues, and country music as well as the boom era of rock & roll.
Aidan Parle After opening our first ever new music showcase, Aidan Parle has consistently been at the top of Most Rated's new music buzz chart. Never failing to impress live, Aidan Parle is known for his rich vocal tones, clever lyrics and the ability to write exceptionally catchy tunes. He will perform with his new three-piece ensemble 'Carnival Red'.
Most Rated is a new monthly music showcase that believes that more must be done to help new music get noticed. We promote new music acts, organised around the local music scene, to play at our monthly events.
