omg thank you 😭😭 and i won’t lie i’m a nepo baby i work with my dad but he’s my bestie so i like it and i don’t work directly under him either. the job was supposed to just float me for after i graduated but im vibing with it now so ive been staying especially bc they are very understanding of my chronic health conditions & are very lenient with me/my schedule which is super hard to find these days. i have a BA degree and my coworkers typically have that at the minimum. you can get a paralegal certification which i believe can take two years at a university but at least at my firm it isn’t necessary. my firm specifically wanted to give younger ppl with not much experience a chance but i know a lot of firms value experience. if you can intern at or work part time at firms even as a legal assistant that could help u get a job if you’re looking! i did a lot of part time legal assistant work over school breaks starting when i was like like 19 so that helped a lot

paralegal! lowkey boring but it pays the bills lol i also do music journalism for a publication called tonitruale so that’s definitely more fun. honestly as far as advice im turning 25 next month and scared af but i think just finding one or two hobbies or side things im passionate about (like writing music and crochet for me) on top of finding a good circle of people i love to surround myself with (plus dogs!!!) has been the most helpful tryna get through 😭

omgggg so sorry i missed this i don’t check this as much! but thank you that’s so sweet 😭 im still living in chicago with my bf and our little dog stevie :) very much still moping and reeling from the election but trying to see the good in things (while also frantically trying to get my italian dual citizenship lol)
