She is silent for several moments, long enough that there might have been a concern of her not answering. But finally she sighs.

"I did love them once. Before my Mohn went missing. And I loved them for who they were. They were beautiful."

Something dark falls over Lusamine's face, "And then he disappeared. And they became reminders of him. Painful reminders."

"I tried to make them more in my image, to erase him from their lives, to erase him frim mine. It did not work and they left."
