I'm going to be playing along with the GPPs for the Mother 25th Anniversary Fanfest on Starmen.net. However, I've already played through EB0 a couple of times. So I'm going to be playing a version randomized by a program created by the wonderful BB Gang Zombie. This is...
I'm naming my characters after the selected Nameset Roulette thing. So yes, that means they are named "The Cake Is A Lie." (Thanks, Lucas_Claus! ;) )
Anyway, "The" is hanging out in his room, when suddenly he is attacked by the snake that he keeps on his desk for some reason.
This isn't your ordinary snake, though. Not only does it scratch you (with what, I might ask), it also knows PK Freeze Alpha, which is a pretty darn strong attack at this point in the game, dealing 10 damage to The per shot.
It also has a supply of salsa, which recovers its HP. It's fricking annoying.
Anyway, we defeat this snake and the snake that's menacing Mimmie Minnie Mimmie Ninten's sister, and then go to fight our first boss: the doll. Wait, no, it's a car.
Fortunately, Slim Wheels isn't much of a challenge, because he prefers to spend most of the battle talking about how much he hates me rather than actually acting on those feelings. His bark is worse than his bite, you could say.
Although he does have a bite, as well.
Also, dang these things like their salsa. Super annoying.
Slim Wheels is eventually turned into a pile of junk, and we collect the first melody:
I talk to my first sister, who apparently raided the snake's salsa supply after I defeated it:
She says she's giving me this salsa because I must be thirsty. Not sure totally what to make of that. I guess people in this alternate universe keep snakes in their rooms and drink salsa. And this is just my family!
Anyway, Mom is characteristically freaking out, as usual:
And Dad is characteristically gruff:
I go to get the Basement Key, only to find it's a bit more... macabre than that:
I enter the Devil Basement with the Devil Key, and find that it's called that for a reason:
Like Slim Wheels, the Catty Busts are really rude.
And like the Burly Asps, they know PSI and can use it. Good thing PK Thunder is the worst attack in the game!
In the Devil Basement, we find:
Needless to say, I'm equipping the magic bat. With a name like that, it's got to be good.
This post is getting long and the Tumblr post editor is glitchin' out so I'm gonna cut this off here and post more in a little bit.
