avalon-donovan:
“I really think I need to go shopping.”
“You want a shopping buddy?”
avalon-donovan:
“I can’t help but be thankful for the town though. It gave me my entire family after all.”
“It can be good for some things, I'll give it that.”
avalon-donovan:
“If anyone deserves that mentality it’s you.”
“I’m high up on that list, at least. But it's always saved more disappointment than otherwise.”
avalon-donovan:
“It was more like not having faith in this town.”
“Well, as far as I'm concerned, Mystic Falls can screw itself. Trust me that's the safest mentality to have.”
avalon-donovan:
“I mean if you have time I’ll happily take it.”
“Of course I have time, put some faith in me.”
avalon-donovan:
“No one, but everyone is just so busy with everything else in their lives that no one else has time for me.”
“Hey, I love you, kid. And I have time whether you like it or not.”
avalon-donovan:
“I just know…I’m not as important,” Avalon told her aunt softly, “I can’t blame you for wanting to catch up with Cait and Kat first and seeing Kat’s little girl.”
“Who told you that you’re not important?” Vicki paused, ignoring the rest of what her niece said.
cait-donovan:
I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see you.
It’s okay. I think I have a pretty good idea.
avalon-donovan:
“No I know you are, and it’s nice having you here. I just…I know Cait comes first and she’ll keep you busy and that’s fine. I’ll be okay I promise,” Avalon promised as happily as she could manage.
“I am capable of splitting my time, you know. It’s been sixteen years, I have time to make up with you too.”
avalon-donovan:
“Y-Yeah of course,” She knew her bright smile had fallen as she looked away from her aunt. She still had hope she would see her dad but even if she did she knew she wouldn’t be the priority. “Cait’s around here.”
“I saw her a little earlier.” Vicki admitted, smiling at the thought of her daughter. But it faltered quickly. “Hey...I’m here, alright? It’s not the same, but I am.”
avalon-donovan:
“Is dad with you?” She asked her hopefully
“He’s not. But I...I’m sure he’ll be here soon.” She wasn't, not really. But Vicki had to hope that her brother would man up and come back. “I'll make sure he shows up this time, okay?”
avalon-donovan:
“Aunt Vicki?” Avalon asked in shock
“Hey, kid.” Vicki grinned, seeing her niece.
cait-donovan:
Hi.
I’m so happy to see you.
cait-donovan:
Mom?
Hi.
Being back here is so unnerving.
