It pisses me off when people are like “it’ll be okay, you’ll get through this” because I know. Life is a constant cycle of being okay and then not being okay and then being okay again. I’ve been through the process enough times to get the gist, but knowing that I will be okay in some nebulous time in the future doesn’t help me now. It could be tomorrow or in a year and either way I feel like shit right now. I guess people say that to deter people from killing themselves but I’m not suicidal I just feel like shit.
