I chat so much shit Tomorrow I'm going to have a carb free day. I'm going to go for a run, eat clean, and actually do something for a change.
I have decided (again) that I am going to lose weight. But I don't have any big goals in mind right now - all I want to do is lose 5kg. By Monday 31st August I will weigh 94.5kg. By Monday 7 September I will weigh 93kg. By Monday 14 September I will weigh 92kg. By Monday 21 September I will weight 91kg. By Monday 28 September I will weigh 90 kg. This is a short term goal with incremental steps, and it is very doable. I'm going to focus on hitting these targets as best I can. After that, we can see where we need to go. I think part of my problem is that I have always seen my weight as one big problem that I need to commit to for like a year in order to fix. Because it seems like such a big commitment, I keep putting it off. Procrastinating, if you will. Which is ridiculous. But I think that if I have very manageable targets in mind, then I will have the motivation to achieve them. I can take it one day at a time. Right now my biggest obstacle is to start with the first day. But this is not a problem anymore because that day is today.

Ok so as always I have been crap and I haven't followed through with my plan. But, although I have generally been rubbish at following my plan, I have been tracking my calorie intake using MyFitnessPal for the last two weeks and it has actually been working really well for me! I lost three pounds last week. Also, I was training for a 10K run which I ran on Saturday morning and I am pleased to say that I jogged the whole thing without stopping! Even though it was at an incredibly slow pace and my time was 1hour30. But the fact that I can jog for 1 hour and 30 minutes continuously is pretty good! I have started to notice some definition on my legs again which is GREAT. So now I'm just going to use my fitness pal for as long as it takes (probably over a year) to lose the weight I need to lose to be healthy. And if I have an off day (like today) it's not the end of the world, and my diet has not stopped. Tomorrow is a new day.

Also my ultimate goal is to be 115 lbs. but I have decided that once my BMI hits the healthy range at 140 lbs I will treat myself to a new pair of headphones since I lost my old pair. Woo yeah!
Goals
I am setting myself a goal. I want to lose 24 pounds in 3 months. I think this is a very reasonable goal and so I think I will be able to succeed. I'm going to break it down by month so that I really know when I am on track and when I am not. Current weight: 212lbs Goal for 31st Jan: 204lbs Goal for 28th Feb: 196lbs Goal for 31st Mar: 188lbs If I lose 24 pounds every three months, then I will definitely be able to achieve my goal of losing 80-100 pounds by the end of the year. I hope January goes well, then we will take it from there. 2015 is the year I finally make it happen.

I’m really keen to stick to my new goal of losing 80 pounds, so I have a new visual installation in my room! I love a good pun, so I have saved up 80 (well, 82) sterling pound coins bearing the head of the good Queen Elizabeth. As I lose each lb, I will transfer another £ from the ‘To Lose’ glass into the ‘Lost’ glass. I think seeing the pounds build up (literally) will really help me to keep on track and stay motivated. I will post update pics as I make progress.

Ok so right now I weigh 95kg which is around 210lbs. My long term goal is to get down to 130lbs. Once I lose 80 pounds I will be just inside the healthy BMI range. Then I will see how I feel and go with the flow.
