hi i’m a mess and my life has been very stressful and bad the last few days so this is super duper late but!
first up, yui komori owned by blue #7065, aka the cleverest use of appaloosa i have ever seen? appaloosa is probably one of my least favourite markings but i absolutely love this design.
another custom i really loved this week was thellassan owned by shortcake #37638. i’m a huge fan of eastern dragon on plants, and i love the agouti/panda/lower fade combo on the legs. plus the colours here are so pretty. a very handsome boy, 10/10 would pat again.
metal cobra #170461′s gasoline is my next pick this time. i’ve realised i love agouti tabby on plants a whole lot. and i always love this kind of colour scheme, it’s so pretty.
another really clever use of something i’m not usually a huge fan of; seward owned by syzygy #734. rainbow is hard for me to like; although i don’t outright hate it i just find it difficult to work with when breeding or designing. i’m also not normally a fan of small markings like tail or crown, although i do love somali. but this custom. this custom is so good. i love his face a lot, and i love how the opacities chosen here make it look like he just has a lovely blue to purple gradient. such a clever design, i’m a huge fan.
i’m completely obsessed with equinox owned by mist #19526. his face is so cool, and i also love eastern dragon on airs.
will i ever stop being in love with every single plant with agouti ever? probably not. i have a problem okay. this lovely boy is dice owned by cat #87878 and he’s just? so? good? i don’t have much to say about him except screaming about how much i love him but he’s a very good boy.

I don’t track that sort of thing super well ;o; everyone is honestly doing so well,,, but! Off the top of my head,,
I like Pearl and Fyre’s breeding a lot, and Proton’s and Nami-swan’s! They’re the ones I see most often in the brag board that I personally love ^o^
Most designers are hit or miss for me, I think I’ve got weird taste in designs aha - but I do really like Unicorn, Mountain, Wednesday’s got some really good stuff!! I’ve bought a pair design off of Lexy, and Chaotic makes good stuff too :D I’ve got a terrible memory and its super early so I’m 100% I’ve forgotten some designs and designers i love seeing the work of ;o;

mod gingersnap’s new custom spotlight week 3
this is quickly becoming my favourite time of the week because it just means i get to gush over all my favourite customs this week.
first up this week is { cause your words don’t translate } owned by shortcake #37638 and designed by mountain #88094. she seems to be quite a popular one this week, i’ve seen her a fair few times on stalk lists, and honestly it’s well deserved. i think she’s adorable, her marking combo is super pretty and her colour combo is perfect. 11/10, very good munchkin.
while we’re talking about mountain’s designs, their new custom battlestar took my breath away this week. i’m not normally a fan of fires, but i absolutely am a fan of the red/starry combination. i wish more designers would use it, it looks so beautiful on so many mweors and this handsome boy is no exception.
the third custom i’d like to shout out this week is los ageless owned by rev #85201. i absolutely love his bright colours and how much the black markings stand out. plus these colours look so bright and fun together. a very lovely watermelon boy.
fyre #55780′s new pair was lovely, but i particular adore the male, garnet! i’m a huge fan of red, and he’s just so simple, but so effective. and look how good he looks with that crown! he’s a fashionable boy.
i think probably my favourite from the customs i picked for this week is moving forward owned by commander jupiter #16565! his colour combo is just so lovely, so unique and colourful! and his marking combination is also really nice, i love his little face so much.
so i am a massive mutations fan, especially dragon horns and court #21853′s summer bummer absolutely rocks his horns <3
a very weird, but fun, in my opinion at least, design next: let the spectrum in owned by jensen #481. she’s so out there and cool, i love her a lot. and okapi/irish on plants is an absolutely winning combination, i have a design myself i’d like to make with a similar marking combo to this, i love the way the legs look so much.
call out for lux #4200: stop making pretty customs damn it i can’t feature you every week but also i absolutely can’t resist. lucky strike is a close second for my top favourite new customs this week, he’s absolutely stunning! and i love how he looks with his lil butterfly friend.
and last but by far not least, cupid owned by vee #134. i just really like his marking combo a lot, he has such nice legs, and i love how the calico softens up the rainbow. he was the first custom that caught my eye this week, i think he’s absolutely lovely <3
this has been such a nice week for new customs - so many gorgeous customs have been made, and agouti tabby!! new marking releases are always my favourite times because there’s a sudden flood of beautiful and unique new customs, i’m going to make a part two with just agouti customs in just a sec to prevent this post from being too long.
