Public Relations as a Service: Communication & Technology
Some days ago we assisted to the official presentation of the OSX Yosemite and iOS 8. This keynote, presented by Apple, was the most remarkable event since the death of former Apple CEO, Steve Jobs.
Why this was a remarkable event? For the first time we saw an event where there wasn’t any complex about Steve Jobs lack of presence.

We assisted to a presentation of two hours about Apple, Apple Products and innovation. For the first time, since the official launch of the iPhone, we assisted to innovation. This is the message that Apple wanted to show us, however, in Apple’s particular style.
In our opinion, in order to have the recognition about being pr professionals, we shall look with more attention to companies like: Apple, Google or Facebook. We must look Public Relations as a Service and not a way to achieve goals. Through this way to look into this discipline we shall have better results in terms of ROI, % of news coverage or focus of the opinion leaders.
Now, we must pay attention to Google’s I/O 2014 which will be occurring soon.
Learn how YouTube is driving innovation with Chris Anderson @ TEDtalks.
Brilliant presentation of the iPhone back to 2007.
This keynote was presented by Steve Jobs.
Tim Berners-Lee: The next Web of open, linked data
http://www.ted.com 20 years ago, Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. For his next project, he's building a web for open, linked data that could do for numbers what the Web did for words, pictures, video: unlock our data and reframe the way we use it together. TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts.
