There was a war around the house, so he was tramatized. Salad then starts hallucinating. The radio was damaged, so he sees it as a monster. He is afraid of the radio sometimes, so he hides in the cuboard. When he sees worms, he thinks that it is hair.
R&J Medicinal Plant: Feverfew In Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence says that plants like everything can be used for good and bad. This is true for all plants including, feverfew. Feverfew is good for preventing migraines. However, it can also make you lose taste and irritate your lips and tongue. Medicinal plants can always be used for good but, is often used for bad. Feverfew is indigenous to the Balkans, but can be found in the Americas, Australia, and all throughout Europe. Feverfew medicine usually has the leaves, but everything except the roots are used. Feverfew is used mainly for preventing headaches especially migraines. Studies have been controversial, but 70% of 270 people in the UK said they felt way better after taking it daily. You aren’t supposed to eat it raw, or you are more likely to get the side-effects. After it is taken over a long time, you can get headaches and trouble sleeping. It also make your lips and tongue irritate, and could make you lose your taste. Some people also have digestive problems, nausea, and bloating. It is best to cook feverfew before eating it, and only take it when you get a migraine. If you constantly get migraines, then you should only taking a few daily. Friar Lawrence was right in Romeo and Juliet, when he said that each plant has a good and a bad side. Feverfew might have more benefits than risks, but it like all plants, has good and bad in it.

Eastern vs Western Parents Kody K
Why Chinese Mothers are Superior by Amy Chua. The article shows what a Chinese mother does to make her children successful. She doesn't let her kids go to sleepovers or go to playdates. They can't complain that school is bad, and she chooses their extra-curricular activities. They aren't allowed to play computer games or watch TV. I think that this is a great way to raise kids. The way Amy Chua raises her kids is very successful. Chinese, Korean, and Japanese people tend to be very successful, and this probably has something to do with it. Most Western parents care less about academics, but nearly all Chinese parents stress the importance of it. Most Chinese parents believe that their kids are great academically. Eastern parents spend about ten times more time on academics than Western parents. My parents are completely Japanese. My mom was expected to get A's from my grandma, and she is the same to me. She is okay if I have a good reason for getting a B, but otherwise expects A's. She no longer spends time drilling me like she used to because of my sister's sports, and she believes that I am good enough, since I get pretty good grades. Unlike Amy Chua, she encourages me to participate in sports, but that isn't my thing. She also allows me to join most extra-curricular activities that I want. She is a mixture of a Western and Eastern parent, but I still do pretty well in school. I believe that being tough academically on your child makes them successful in life. Eastern children are expected to get good grades. They however, aren't given much time to have fun. I am expected to do great academically, and I do well. My parents also let me have some fun. Being hard on your kids and not letting them have fun will help them in the long run.

Marie Sklodowska was born on November 7,1867 in Warsaw, Poland. Her father taught her about science when she was young. She was married to Pierre Curie in 1895, and she became Marie Curie. In 1903, she got her Doctor of Science Degree, and her husband died in 1906. She was able to isolate polonium and radium from their radioactive qualities, so they could be studied. She promoted radium to use to alleviate pain. Marie and Pierre Curie were awarded half of a Nobel Prize of Physics. In 1911, she got a Nobel Prize of Chemistry for her work with radioactive materials. In 1903, she was awarded the Davy Medal of Royal Society, and was given a gram of radium by President Warren G. Harding in 1921. Marie Curie connects to Steph because as the book says, she was loyal, funny, and intelligent. Marie Currie was quiet and calm, but the she got a lot of esteem from other scientists comments. Marie also believed in facts and figures, and didn’t believe in superstition. All of her believes were based on scientific method. Steph is calm and quiet, but Alexandra gives her esteem as a friend. Steph didn’t believe in Alexandra’s guided imaginary. Steph believes scientific method and not superstition. She would believe in things that are proven, just like Marie Curie.

Vocab #3
A prudent advisor told the prince to find the person who fits the slipper, since it is really small, and very few people would fit it. The prince went to a placid palace, it is sunny, has many beautiful plants, and is where a rich family lives. The man is dubious that the slipper will fit her, because he travelled a long way, and not one person fit it. The girl thought wistfully about how she may become a princess if she fits the slipper.
Challenge
A few years ago, I was constantly getting into fights with my mom, sister, and dad. They were mostly with my dad. It happened every day, and all the time I was home. My parents went to someone, because they thought I had ADHD. I had to answer many questions and he diagnosed me with mild ADD, and high-functioning autism. We went to see a therapist wo works in her house. After about a month, she helped us get better. I still go to her, since I still have some problems with other people, but I still have some problems with my family. I think things worked out the way they did because, we were all willing to change.
Vocab 2
The baby is enveloped in cloth to keep him dry in case she is dropped into the water. The man's ruse is that he found the baby, and is giving him to him real parents for a reward, but he actually stole him. The crowd is watching the man in disdain, since he is giving away his baby. The baby is being reunited with his family, after the calamity.

Unique
I am unique because, I am interested in history. Only two or three of my friends like history, but I find it interesting. I feel that by learning about history, you can predict the future, since history repeats itself. Most of my friends and family find history unnecissary, and also dislike learning about it. I think that it is important that you learn about history, since you are living through it.
Random Acts of Kindess

Who: Lewis Dediara What: Gave a hungry homeless man food from a nearby store Where: London When: 18 May 2012 Why: The man was digging through trash cans for food How: There was a store nearby, and he had enough money to buy the food.
An unexpected behavior is when Lewis Dediara took the homeless man to a store, when most people just walked by. Another contrast is when the homeless man only took a pint of milk and a bag of chips even though he was clearly starving. People might do more random acts of kindness after seeing what Lewis did for the homeless man. The homeless person might have gotten sick from eating from the trash can. I think that is great that someone is helping the homeless.
Picture
It looks liike it takes place between 1930 and 1970 in an all black town, in the southern states. Everyone is looking at a cart. People are chasing it and looking down from their buildingsto see what is inside.
My First Week of School
The first week of school started with homeroom. I got my iPad back after a few months. For science, we have to do a science fair project. I want to throw potassium into water and explain the reaction. I am also taking Geomotry, a high-school class. Along with Latin, colleges will be looking at the grade. We are using Showbie in a lot of my clases. We are learning Greek mythology in Latin. We had to mentor sixth graders during homeroom. We also had to eat with them during lunch.
