Don’t wait, the time will never be right.
Mindsets and energy attract me more than your physical appearance
Toddlers are so pure. She doesn’t understand that we help her with certain things because she’s little. She thinks that everyone just helps each other like that. So she tries to blow on my food and cut it up for me and tries to help me put on my shoes.
nowadays nothing's more attractive than good communication and honesty.
“The heart that lives the life of Emaan and tastes the sweetness of it, sees gold as something grey and money as paper that’s used to cover your needs and nothing else, it’s filled with light and shines, Taqwaa is the balance that does not run out and honesty an aid that does not decrease.”
make yourself mentally untouchable. train yourself adapt to every situation. reacting and getting angry to situations you can’t control is a waste of energy.

*throwing gentleness, kindness and happiness at you*
Ibn al Jawzī:
O you who has plenty of sins but weeps little. Weep over your lack of tears! They (the salaf) used to cry whilst they have Taqwa, and you are laughing with all those sins?!

Attaining True Happiness
Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Sālih al-Uthaymīn [رحمه الله] said:
❝Know that possessing money, owning a fancy house, and having many children may not necessarily make you happy; however, being contented with whatever you have will make you happy, even if you are the poorest person.❞
[Sharh al-Kāfiyah, (4/464) | Translated By Musa Shaleem Mohammed]
Imaam Barbahaaree رحمه الله said:
Islam became a stranger, the sunnah a stranger and the people of sunnah strangers within their own homes
[Sharh us Sunnah, translated by Abu Talha رحمه الله]
Not long ago I said to someone close to me: ‘I miss being happy, you know?’ And she replied: ‘I stopped asking Allah for happiness’ - I asked: how come?
She said: ‘Because, happiness comes in waves. And so does sorrow. If you’re happy one day, you’ll be sad the other day. And if you’re sad one day, then you’ll be happy the other day. So instead, I ask Allah for peace. For peace settles the heart always.’
I never stopped thinking about those words, and I’ve never missed anything more than I miss peace. You don’t need to be happy to be at peace.
Peace equals tranquility, and then sorrow won’t be as heavy as it is now.
Allahumma, grant us peace.

أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested?”
