وكمْ من زلةٍ ليِ في الخَطَايا وأنتَّ عليَّ ذو فضلٍ ومَنَّ

How many slips into sin I have made, yet You are, towards me, full of bounty and favour.

يَظُنّ النَّاسُ بي خَيرًا وإِنِّي لشَرُ النَّاسِ إنْ لمْ تَعفُ عنِّي.

People assume good of me, but I am the worst of people if You do not pardon me.

It is not simply losing my imaan, it is more than that…

It is as if my soul and heart no longer speak to each other

As if my heart has been stripped from my body, and can no longer find it’s way home.

I dread the nights my heart is detached and the walk home is way too long

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللّٰهُ

We submit ourselves to Allah and worship Him Alone. We fear none but Him and love none as much as Him. We depend only on Him, seek protection only with Him and invoke Him Alone for help and forgiveness. We turn to Him Alone for judgement in all matters. Our bowing, prostration and obedience is solely reserved for Him.

Pray that Salah. Make that Dua. Leave that toxic relationship behind. Avoid the haram. Seek forgiveness now, without delay. Speak with kindness and reflect on your actions daily. Surround yourself with good company and remember Allah always. Read the Quran, and give charity, even if it’s just a small act. Stay humble in all things and purify your intentions. Be patient through life’s challenges. Let go of anger, free your heart from jealousy, and focus on your personal growth. Make dhikr a habit, keep your promises, and guard your peace. Trust Allah’s plan.

Make these steps your daily commitment, and watch your faith grow.

My age has made me realize I need Allah in everything, everywhere and everytime.

مَن تَركَ شَهْوَتَهُ لِأجلِ مَرْضَاةِ الله، نَالَ أعلَى دَرَجَاتِ الصَّبْرِ وَالإيمَانِ.
