Ok “The only game dropping in November against GTA 6 being a remaster of a Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee” wasn’t on my bingo card, I’m gonna be honest here I didn’t think that was an option. But I guess it makes sense the only one willing to go against GTA 6, would be The King.

On a side note, does this mean a remaster of Godzilla Saves The Earth is also an option? That was my Godzilla game as a kid, so I’d dig the hell out of that.

Law and Order is such a funny series, since it’s been around for so long it’s one of those shows where just about any random actor you recognize has made an appearance on it big or small. Like everyone remembers the Robin Williams episode, but then out of the blue you have Daniel Dae Kim aka Johnny fucking Gat playing a coroner in an episode.

Been thinking about how the inscription on Wolf’s mask says “Not For Glory. Not For Honor. Not For The Hunt. But To Clean Up The Mess.” and it’s makes me wonder if this is a common trend amongst other Yaujta. Like how American soldiers in the Vietnam War wrote messages on their helmets, stuff like “Make War Not Love” or “War Is Good For Business, Invest Your Son!”.

Makes me wonder what Yaujta like City Hunter, Greyback, Scar, Feral, Kwei, or Dek would write.

Just found out that “The Bad” from The Good, The Bad, The Weird is the voice of Gwi-Ma in KPop Demon Hunters and it’s currently blowing my mind.

So I’ve had a few thoughts since the announcement Gunnar (or Grendel depending on who you ask) and Shinobi will be coming to Hunting Grounds.

Thought 1: I’m curious how executions will work for Gunnar given he doesn’t use a traditional wrist blade, using his hammer augmentation instead. Having one hand will also probably affect what weapons he can use, hard to imagine him being able to use a Predator Bow or the Combistick.

Thought 2: With Shinobi I hope we get access to his wrists bombs and that chain he uses, it would be really nice to have more wrist gadgets. Also it’s a safe that we’ll get his spear, which will either be another variant of the standard Combistick or it will be a new weapon like the Gladiator’s Trident.

Thought 3: It’s interesting we’re not getting Barron (The Pilot Predator), likely due to him not having traditional hunting style. But it could also be further evidence of the theory that some fans have had about him, that he’s suffered some kind of life altering injury that has forced him to change his hunting style to what we see in the movie.

Final Thought: They probably could’ve had Grendel King take Barron’s spot, but I imagine the thought of figuring out how to animate his cape in game gave someone in charge a vicious headache.

So on Grendel King’s design, it’s obviously great and does a great job at showcasing his rank/status without just stating it. Big detail I personally love is the cape, a fur cape but bone is something that both looks rad as hell but also fits Yautja culture to a T since bones (especially skulls) are such an important symbol to them.

So my (safe) bet for Badlands is that the Elder Predator we see going after Dek in the trailer, is his father. The plot details we got the other day mention Dek is trying to prove himself to his father, so his father also being the Clan Elder has way too much drama and angst potential to be ignored.

Side Bar: My second bet is that Elle Fanning’s line “Your hunting something that can’t be killed” is setting up Dek to deliver “If it bleeds, I can kill it.”, double points for me if it’s the only line Dek says in the movie that’s in English.

I might do a more interesting Lily (CD-Call) post later related to Dragon Age/Mass Effect, but for now I’ll settle for a nice and simple one.

It’s objectively really funny that Lily is apparently an Ander’s defender, like certified Angsty White Boy hater Lily fuckin Orchard picked the funniest Angsty White Boy to make an exception for. Like she could’ve gone on about awful he is the same way she does for guys like Hunter and most people’s response would’ve been “Oh you hate the guy who makes everything a thousand times worse for everybody, especially mages??. Yeah that makes sense, that’s fair.”

I mean I know it’s because Lily sees the mages the same way she sees the Krogan, as just innocent oppressed victims who are 100% justified in any extreme violent action even if it’s objectively a bad move that makes everything worse. And also, she likes being a contrarian cause it let her pretend like she has an original opinion/thought.
