Time for a competitive Pokemon set! The first one I’m going to be doing is Tentacruel!

This is a unique set I’ve used in OU that offers a lot of potential if used correctly!

Pokemon: Tentacruel Item: Assault Vest Ability: liquid Ooz, or rain dish (on a rain team) Nature: Bold

Moveset: Scald (burn support) Knock off (because knock off) Acid Spray or Rapid Spin Hydro pump or giga drain (for recovery)

Consider ice beam or sludge wave for alternatives.

Evs HP: 252 DEF:252+ SPEED:4

This is a great wall and catches a lot of people off guard. It has a lot of utility and would excel as a balanced wall in a rain team, or with a dedicated defensive wall. Plus it has often times surprisingly good speed at base 100 able to out speed other walls in the tier.

EVs: Max Speed Max Special Attack Rest in Special Defence

Recommended Moveset: Psychic (lvl 46) Calm Mind (lvl 42) Focus Blast (TM52) Recover (lvl 36)

Moves you should also consider: Psyshock (TM03) Dazzling Gleam (TM99) Shadow Ball (TM30) Energy Ball (TM53)

Kazams ability is magic guard….

And the best set by far for competitive usage is focus sash. So he can’t get ohkod (magic guard allows him to avoid damage from entry hazards). A set up kazam has to have sub or its useless zam is way too frail.

Oh my bad, put magic bounce rather than magic guard, and as for the item, I was more so working off the fact that alongside Magic Guard Alakazam wouldn’t take damage from life orb
