Hello everyone! I’m not retiring Marissa, but I am retiring this blog! I’m keeping the account open so I can look back on the progress she’s gone through over the years, but I’m changing her fc and would like a new start blog wise (mostly because I’ve found that it’s annoying switching between accounts all the time). As much as I would love that seeing as I am raising a kid in the U.S., the American government seems very stuck in their ways. 

And that’s why we need structural changes. Are you registered to vote here?

It’d be nice if my taxes went towards schools or infrastructure repair instead of, you know, the military.

You know, that’s fair. They don’t even get used for the right stuff.

It feels nice! I do have to figure out how to do joint taxes for the first time though.

Things are going well. Mikey is good, he’s turning 10 in a couple months and couldn’t be happier. 

Oh my goodness, really?! They sure do grow up fast.

I never left actually. I just needed to go home for some time. I should be back to teaching again next week. 

It feels like ages since I’ve seen you. How’s everything? How’s Mikey doing?

Yeah I had a family emergency and had to go home. 

Are you just visiting or have you moved back?

No matter how many times I make that trip, nothing prepares you for a 7+ hour flight.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Savannah and Cleo worked tirelessly for two weeks on Marissa's new home office, which hiding it was really hard to do. Finally on Valentine's Day Savannah led her inside the room and showed her all their hard work. Complete with a rose bouquet on the desk.
