Beau nodded and step forward, he did as she said. Following her and the other father’s instruction he found his place in the room, his devotion to help the person inside. But the demon was twisted, tried to twist his mind. He tried to ignore it but there was a loose chink in his faith. Something that kept him from committing fully. In the end the man collapsed and so did he his head in his hands at the end of the bed.

Clare stood quietly off to the side like this was an every day occurrence. This of course was her putting on a strong facade. She needed to present a serene yet immovable force. When Beau fell to his knees she let out frightened little gasp, marring her composed demeanor. “Beau,” she whispered.

“It really can. I just wish I’d listened to marcel. He knew from the start. Instead i pushed him away and I lost years with him. I’m just glad we can make up for them now. I just wish it hadn’t taken a wedding and a shooting to make that happen.”

“As weirdly optimistic as Andrew is he’s probably thankful that it did happen and that it brought you and Marcel back together.”

“What can I do to help?” He frowns faintly unsure. “They don’t really go over this that often. i’m pretty sure the Vatican is starting to work on stopping them. Or atleast having far less of them”

“You need to evoke the name of Christ and try to get it to reveal its name because once you know that name you have power over it and therefore can get rid of it for good,” she said with more sureness than she felt. She was the sort who tried to be confident in these situations even when they made her nervous.

“I wish that some things were as easy to identify as being a psychic medium because that would be helpful in all cases.”

“He’s not been prescribing me much. We’ve been doing behavioral therapy more than anything, which works but only so much and not for this physical aspect of it.”

“I’ve been on anxiety medicine for most of my life and it takes that edge off that you might need. Sometimes you need a mix of therapy and medicine to right you all the way.”
