i think the reason people hate iris so much isn’t just that she’s annoying, it’s that we’re supposed to like her, and, that in most situations she’s supposed to be in the right (by the show’s standards). if they kept her as the same character but framed the scenes differently people would she her as the flawed person she’s shown as and not a raging bitch
