WIP rough animation of muh favorite anime boy. It’s more harmony practice. It feels so nice to do roughs in this program. I hope I can get the clean up the way I want it. What color jacket should I use?

The next episode I worked on is out (the first 3:02 of the video)! This time, I only drew key poses and my assistant animator filled the rest in. Huge props to her for how closely she matched my animation style! (I animated the goat dance in its entirety though, actually)

OKAY, so I’ve seen 0 Terrytoons and 1 Lantz short ever (and it was from the late ‘50s, I think) so…

what are your most highly recommended shorts of each studio?

When it comes to the Dick Lundy directed shorts from Lantz Studios, Woody the Giant Killer is pretty good. I think Ed Love animated the first scene and Woody Woodpecker is making a lot of weird faces and it’s super fun to watch. I friggin love it when they make him grow eyebrows.
