Yep. That’s about what I made when I managed a cafe before I started drawing.

I work pretty hard to keep myself afloat, but it’s nice to know that you understand all of my expenses, bills, cost of rent, and various loans to pay off. I bet you also know that I have to put 1/3rd of that aside to pay taxes too. I also try to manage my finances so I can save a little money each month in case there’s an emergency.

Thanks for being understanding that artists should be paid well if they work hard and inspire others enough to support them. It’s really neat how you care about them leading financially stable lives so they can focus on their work. I’m happy to give you most of my art for free too! You’ll never have to pay a cent if you don’t want to. I know my personal finances concern you so much so I don’t mind answering this one for you.
