“They’re really pushing Percabeth in the show way too early!!” Are they tho ? are they ? or are they just correctly portraying Percy “my fatal flaw is loyalty” Jackson ??? because so far Percy has shown the same amount of love and care towards both Annabeth and Grover, he has both of their pictures up on his mirror (that he both longingly looks at), so far the two most important things for him have been a) Annabeth acting strange and b) Grover being in danger, he fully went against camp orders to go search for Grover and in the same breath put himself in front of Annabeth to protect her, Grover has been mentioned just as often as Annabeth has. So are they really pushing Percabeth that hard or are they just portraying Percy for who he is, someone who deeply cares and loves his friends ?
saw a tiktok about annabeth breaking the rules to sit next percy and him being giddy about it for three pages. and that perspective is so funny to me. because all i'm imagining is annabeth just sitting there, completely stoned-faced. and percy is wide-eyed and beet red, very evidently holding back a scream of delight.

My favorite thing about HoO is that Rick knew EXACTLY what kind of character he'd created with Percy, this guy that casually talks about fighting the god of war when he was twelve and bathing in the Styx and defeated Kronos.
Like everyone else's internal monologue is all: Wow, I am so glad that he is on our side. He's Percy Freaking Jackson, and he is absolutely terrifying. He's like super nice and sometimes has an idiotic sense of humor, but also good gods he is powerful and absolutely a loose cannon and wow am I glad Annabeth is here to keep him in check.
and then Percy's is just: Wow, Annabeth is so pretty I am so lucky to have her, I hope I get to kiss her when this battle is over because killing monster's is such a good look for her. I am sick of prophecies :(
sometimes i forget that percy strangled a snake as a toddler…
just kidding! no i don’t because a teeny baby toddler having the raw strength to strangle a snake to death with his bare little hands is fucking insane actually. and i think about it almost every time i see a toddler
Percy 'facecard so brutal that I got mistaken for a god' Jackson.
would love it if the last god/goddess percy has to do a quest for is hestia. and all she only asks of him a simple, easy-to-do, done in two minutes task. and then that's it. no tricks or double meanings. and he just sobs into her shoulder at the end of it. and she just holds him and tells him that he's all done. he can go live his life now.
PLEASE, UNCLE RICK, LET THIS KID HAVE A BREAK FOR A BOOK
he needs this so badly
but a twist for it is that we see him try and deal with not having his life on the line for once in however long it is now, and it's hard, cause that's what he's grown to know as his life
