Drew this after watching that one episode where Ezra talks to Yoda at the temple and gets his Kyber Crystal
Watching as many Star Wars shows as I can in very little time just makes me realize how much Father-With-Unplanned-Adopted-Kid is a trope there
Also how much I love it
Yes, Kanan is very normal about his embarassing Padawan while next to his Idol Anakin Skywalker
more of my butch femme lesbian Restila.
modern au's my beloved
(after watching a joyful loving movie) yeah it was good and all but i just wish a character had gotten stabbed five times and left for dead in an alleyway and then found by their loved ones at the last minute so they could be fussed over

she also has zero patience for Doc 💀

All of the art pieces together in one post, for your continued viewing pleasure. Looking at them together, I can see the development of how much farther i went when it came to rendering/coloring them as I went along up to Tech.
I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while they’re growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think they’ll get bulky as though bulking isn’t a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density 🥀
i noticed that you CAN attach color crystals to your blasters in swtor so here is a fun guide on how YOU can customize your blaster colors with lore. its not saber colors but it IS fun!
blaster bolt colors are largely decided by the kind of gas they use (think different flavors of tibanna gas -- it has a lot of different types and manufacturing procceses), so my best guess is the cheaper refining process the less good the gas. think of it as options at the gas station, from cheapest to most expensive!
red bolts are the most common. they use the cheapest and easiest to source gas. this will be the kind you see the most. its unrefined tibanna all the way down.
blue bolts are ion shots! they disrupt machinery and are best used against droids and electronics. more expensive than red gas. this one is ionized tibanna!
green bolts are the expensive, premium option. these bolts have a physical impact behind them and can hit hard enough to punch through targets and/or push those targets back. it's super refined. this is refined tibanna!
yellow bolts are used almost exclusively by mandalorians and the gas is mined from the mandalore system. there is speculation that these bolts are a higher quality and function more like their green counterparts than the standard... it's a higher grade of ammunition, a tibanna variant for mandos!
orange and light blue bolts occupy the same catagory: its all training bolts. that said they do function slightly differently.
orange is a non-lethal, low power option.
wheras light blue is a watered down version of the standard blue bolts for training against droids (wherein you wouldn't have to repair the droid so much, as it causes less damage.)
dont ask me about purple ok. i dont know. puts my head in my hands. the geonosians get purple and no one knows why. a specific vein ala mandalorian yellow bolts? is it because they're bugs? if so do the killiks also get purple? and why the hell do some DROIDS get PURPLE. for me personally im siding with the bugs. the bugs get purple.
also chiss get green and blue charric bolts, which is basically an energy beam and not tibanna gas. its really hot and it hurts a lot and lightsabers do not deflect it. it punches through most armor and electrifies any metal armor it can't punch through to zap whoever is inside. (get a mandalorian a rubber kute the chiss do not want you to know this but you would be unstoppable-- the secret police are taking me away dont let them up-!)
other colors?
There are a LOT of color combinations in the game! It's all tibanna gas so get funky with it. give your blaster rounds special effects if you want! say they were refined differently or are from a specific place! i want to see SO MANY custom blaster colors i am customizing all my little guys blaster colors now and i am taking you all with me!!!
10 Non-Lethal Injuries to Add Pain to Your Writing
New Part: 10 Lethal Injury Ideas
If you need a simple way to make your characters feel pain, here are some ideas:
1. Sprained Ankle
A common injury that can severely limit mobility. This is useful because your characters will have to experience a mild struggle and adapt their plans to their new lack of mobiliy. Perfect to add tension to a chase scene.
2. Rib Contusion
A painful bruise on the ribs can make breathing difficult, helping you sneak in those ragged wheezes during a fight scene. Could also be used for something sport-related! It's impactful enough to leave a lingering pain but not enough to hinder their overall movement.
3. Concussions
This common brain injury can lead to confusion, dizziness, and mood swings, affecting a character’s judgment heavily. It can also cause mild amnesia.
I enjoy using concussions when you need another character to subtly take over the fight/scene, it's an easy way to switch POVs. You could also use it if you need a 'cute' recovery moment with A and B.
4. Fractured Finger
A broken finger can complicate tasks that require fine motor skills. This would be perfect for characters like artists, writers, etc. Or, a fighter who brushes it off as nothing till they try to throw a punch and are hit with pain.
5. Road Rash
Road rash is an abrasion caused by friction. Aka scraping skin. The raw, painful sting resulting from a fall can be a quick but effective way to add pain to your writing. Tip: it's great if you need a mild injury for a child.
6. Shoulder Dislocation
This injury can be excruciating and often leads to an inability to use one arm, forcing characters to confront their limitations while adding urgency to their situation. Good for torture scenes.
7. Deep Laceration
A deep laceration is a cut that requires stitches. As someone who got stitches as a kid, they really aren't that bad! A 2-3 inch wound (in length) provides just enough pain and blood to add that dramatic flair to your writing while not severely deterring your character.
This is also a great wound to look back on since it often scars. Note: the deeper and wider the cut the worse your character's condition. Don't give them a 5 inch deep gash and call that mild.
8. Burns
Whether from fire, chemicals, or hot surfaces, burns can cause intense suffering and lingering trauma. Like the previous injury, the lasting physical and emotional trauma of a burn is a great wound for characters to look back on.
If you want to explore writing burns, read here.
9. Pulled Muscle
This can create ongoing pain and restrict movement, offering a window to force your character to lean on another. Note: I personally use muscle related injuries when I want to focus more on the pain and sprains to focus on a lack of mobility.
10. Tendonitis
Inflammation of a tendon can cause chronic pain and limit a character's ability to perform tasks they usually take for granted. When exploring tendonitis make sure you research well as this can easily turn into a more severe injury.
This is a quick, brief list of ideas to provide writers inspiration. Since it is a shorter blog, I have not covered the injuries in detail. This is inspiration, not a thorough guide. Happy writing! :)
