we’re  all  adults  here  so  if  anyone  from  the  server  would  like  to  speak  to  me  about  the  situation  then  you  are  free  to.  however,  there  have  been  multiple  instances  where  i’ve  felt  deeply  uncomfortable  by  conversations  or  irritated  by  certain  behaviors  and  so  i  feel  the  mature  thing  to  do  would  be  to  simply  leave.  if  this  seems  petty,  i’m  aware,  but  this  feels  the  best  for  both  parties.

first,  this  is  not  a  call  for  harassment.  i  do  not  encourage  threats,  doxxing,  or  anything  harmful  involving  this  person.  this  is  merely  to  spread  awareness  and  to  curb  any  future  behavior  like  this. 

i  was  hoping  to  read  fics  in  the  disney  princess  genre  when  i  happened  upon  it’s  a  pain  to  be  a  prince  by  reikoemi.  i  found  reusing  the  title  of  an  abuser’s  work  to  be  distasteful,  but  was  willing  to  push  past  it,  until  i  found  out  what  the  fic’s  premise  was:  the  main  character  was  an  ex-fan  of  lavenoor,  who  was  then  isekai’d  into iaptbap after finding out the author’s a groomer.

not  only  did  they  fail  to  contact  star  before  using  their  abuse  as  a  backdrop  in  their  fictional  story,  but  they  also  failed  to  explain  the  gravity  of  noor’s  actions.  a  simple  “noor  groomed  someone”  is  not  enough  when  you’re  basing  your  work  off  of  said  groomer. 

even  though  my  fic  is  not  a  rewrite  of  iaptbap,  i  have  several  links  throughout  my  account  to  find  out  what  noor  has  done,  because  that’s  the  respectful  thing  to  do. 

but still,  i  tried  to  be  courteous,  explaining  why  i  thought  this  was  wrong,  encouraging  them  to  contact  star,  to  properly  link  star’s  doc,  and  to  write  out  mentions  of  noor/iaptbap  from  their  fic.  while  i  don't  have  the  initial  comment,  i  have  a  draft  of  my  second response  to  them.

afterwards,  they  deleted  my  comment  and  blocked  me.  real  mature,  reiko! 

again,  this  is  not  a  call  to  action;  i  do  not  want  you  to  harass  this  person,  but  i  also  don’t  want  to  remain  silent  about  vile  behavior.  star  is  a  real,  human  being  who  deserves  respect  so,  if  you're  going  to  do  anything,  please  send  your  well  wishes  to  them.

Aint no way yall are mad about something as petty as THIS. We lost the plot FR. BTW I read their story and I enjoyed it wayy more then other rewrites. DONT RUIN THIS FOR ME TOO.
