Affirmation Of The Week
1. I am becoming the woman of my dreams.

You deserve a healthy love with someone who hears you, sees you, understands you, appreciates you, supports you, and loves you. Someone who is patient, communicates clearly, and creates a calm safe space to heal, grow, and bloom together. A love you never have to heal from.
create your perfect routine (day and night)
where to start? ask yourself these questions:
🤍 what habits would i like to have in my life? and how can i incorporate them? 🤍 what are the habits i have now that are not benefiting me? 🤍 what do i want to focus on? 🤍 what are the things i want to do that are possible right now? 🤍 what are my short and long-term goals and objectives and if these new habits i want to implement will help me to achieve them?
important: may these new habits bring you closer to your desired version of yourself and your life.
after knowing what you really want to achieve, review your current schedule and make a few modifications if it is difficult for you to organize yourself, use a planner or a to-do list.
start your routine from the night before, this is very important because if we have a good night (we go to bed with happy thoughts) we will wake up motivated and eager to start our day.
set a bedtime alarm (one hour earlier than you usually go to bed) and then start planning one or two hours in advance everything you have to do before going to bed. make sure you turn off your cell phone and eliminate distractions such as tv and social media this does not benefit us, we can dedicate some time a day but no more)
things you can do:
a warm shower before bed and skin care
organize tomorrow's day with a to-do list
write down things you are grateful for or happy about
read a book
do a meditation before going to sleep that makes you feel calm and happy
go to sleep with the feeling and assurance that tomorrow will be a great day
a little tip, the next morning when you wake up, smile! it's going to be a great day!
since you have already organized yourself the night before, wake up one or two hours earlier than you used to in order to start your day in a productive way.
start with a meditation or positive affirmations.
drink water, your body has been resting for many hours and you need hydration.
make your bed and tidy up your space
review the things you have to do today and get down to work with a lot of motivation
take a few minutes to read something inspiring or write affirmations
move your body in the way that you like best
simple minimalist habits that will improve your life
focus on the essentials of your day.
start organizing your days.
write a diary to organize your ideas and thoughts, discard those that no longer benefit you.
focus on the things that are in your control.
practice detachment (things, people, situations)
make a list of your priorities, what you need at this moment (can be objects and situations too)
get rid of everything you no longer use.
purchase/consume items that will be useful in your daily life.
tidy up your room or the place where you spend most of your time, create a serene and inspiring space.
create a capsule closet
digital and mental detox
spend less time on social media or watching tv, instead read more or spend time outdoors.
leave out of your life everything that is consuming you or doing you any kind of harm (people, social networks, habits).
be grateful every day.
live in the present moment.
practice meditation and mindfulness.
things to start and stop doing to be the best you
things to start doing:
put yourself first - live for yourself and up to your own standards and stop pushing aside your needs for other people.
set healthy boundaries for yourself and others
always find new skills and hobbies to learn and pick up
have a routine that works for you
never settle for less. if it's not what you want, keep looking forward.
be bold - not letting fear stop you from being great
improve your self talk. compliment yourself more. tell yourself things will be okay.
enjoy the silence more
more self reflection!
learn how to enjoy your own company
socialize more
take yourself out on solo dates
walk with your head high, shoulders back
listening to your intuition when you first brush it off. you can find out the reason later.
start being active. move your body. go on walks, go to the gym, sign up for yoga, dance classes, pilates, etc.
continue talking when someone cuts you off.
put people in their place. if your boundaries have been crossed or you see something that isn't right, don't be afraid to speak your mind whenever you see necessary.
read more books. set a goal for each month.
seek for all sides of the story. never come to a set conclusion at first glance or none at all.
take your own advice.
be assertive. don’t allow yourself to be pushed around. do what's good for you no matter what anyone says, be clear about what you want in life and go for it.
ask questions. don't be afraid to. this applies to everything.
explore different styles that pique your interest. clothes, majors, hobbies, jobs, literally everything.
journaling your thoughts and ideas.
things to stop doing:
seek validation from others
living for others when you should be living for yourself.
passively consume content on social media
having FOMO. who cares if you missed out on the latest celebrity gossip, what person cheated on who, the food pictures people are posting on their stories. does it benefit you for a lifetime? no? okay then.
saying "i'm going to do this" and not do it.
isolating yourself for a long period of time
spending more time on your phone than you are living your life. there's life outside a glowing screen. stop wasting what you have and make the best of it even if it seems "impossible". you can always make something out of nothing.
comparing yourself to others
idolizing everyone. celebrities, public figures, influencers....
letting people's limiting beliefs have a hold over you
choosing to keep the victim mentality.
putting your responsibilities and happiness aside to laze around or for other people.
sticking with your circle when you've outgrown them. i don't care how long you've known them for and how good the bond was. if they're not good for you anymore, leave.
letting people step all over you - say no and don't give in to pleases.
pushing your trauma/problems aside. your problems are no less than others. you are important too. tend to yourself.
guilt trip yourself for resting when you want/need to.
abandon your needs.
insulting yourself for failures and mistakes. it's normal, you're okay.
believing everything you see and hear whether it be online or in real life.
don't take criticism from people you wouldn't take advice from. or anyone for that matter unless it's out of the goodness of their heart (constructive)

hey loves! if you’re looking to self improve but don’t know how, i want to tell you that it’s way easier than you might think :) since everyone’s journey is different, you’ll need to think about WHO you want to be, and HOW you’ll execute this. For each one i’ll give examples based on myself so you know how to answer it.
ask yourself: use these prompts if you don’t quite know who you want to be. try to be in depth when you answer, and i recommend setting up a moodboard on pinterest once you’ve laid out your ideas.
what does your dream person look like? (ex. clear skin, healthy hair, natural)
what does your dream person do differently then you? (ex. healthier habits, better routines)
what habits do you want to take up? (ex. running, learning a new language)
what do you want to achieve? (mental stability, learning a new language, going to a good university)
once you’ve dreamed it out, you need to create an action plan. in other words, now that you know who you want to be, you need to know how you’re going to do this.
incorporate little habits to better yourself (ex. if your dream you is more mentally stable, then take up little habits such as meditation and journalling)
set your priorities and avoid distractions (ex. ignore rude people, and stay out of drama. in the long run these negative distractions will hinder your ability to grow)
stay quiet and work hard
learn to love yourself throughout the process. don’t be mad if progress is slow, keep working and keep loving yourself. as time goes on, begin to incorporate more healthy habits and stay consistent with them.
