which 3d medium do you use? and how many hours do you spend on an average modeling piece?

It depends on project you do. For example Tiny Room project takes minimum a working day up to 2-3 days.

hiiiiiii i'm planning to start work 3D art but dunno where to start. do u have any useful tips? any tricks?

you should first 3d glasses and break your screen..just kidding.. you should first find out which field in 3d are you interested in and also which software you think you could cope with. I recommend Blender for hobbyists.
