Zuko may have flared up a bit with the crowd getting too close to him after a while, scared some people off but he needed the space. He knew the streets were going to be full when the actual event happened but he wished he hadn't had to escape to a bar to get some space from most people.

The familiar warmth on his throat was nice but didn't want to drink himself into a stupor before the ceremony. His ears picked up on the conversations around him, joyful tones of support for the could and those of disdain for the union.
"People should really mind their own business," He voices more to himself than the people around him. He hands the cup over and the bartender pours him another that he then lights the surface of fire. It doesn't really do anything but give him an excuse to play with the fire. "Never cared for the politics in these things and I'm just reminded why they suck."
